Hello lovelies!

I'm still trying to process everything that took place on last night's Men Tell All episode. There was a lot of finger pointing, knee begging, soul bearing, and cyber bullying (which I will cover later). Most of what we saw was typical for each season, but I think it's safe to assume that Kaitlyn has had to deal with some serious crazies on social media (and a few crazies in the bunch on the show!). Grab your bevvies, and let's start dishing!

It's no surprise that Chris Harrison wanted to start the show by putting Ian on the spot for his behaviour on the episode when he left the show. I love that Tanner called him out for the way he acted towards everyone, especially Kaitlyn. Questioning a woman's integrity is a big deal, especially when you're on a show with 24 other men vying for her affections. Getting down on his knees to beg for the forgiveness of the men was pretty extreme, but seemed to do the trick. All is well in Ianville for now.

Clint also had to answer for his actions during the season, and shared the title of pompous and arrogant with his bromantic buddy, JJ. I'm sure most people didn't question whether or not he was a straight man, but he seemed adamant about getting that out there. I thought his relationship with JJ was strange while they were in the house, but they didn't apologize for their friendship. I actually have more respect for JJ now that I have seen the MTA episode. Will get into that later.

The overwhelmingly huge pink elephant in the room reared its head last night, when the men discussed Kaitlyn's decision to let Nick onto the show four weeks into the season. Jonathan blamed Kaitlyn for letting Nick come onto the show, and Kupah said she should have left the show to pursue time with Nick, saying she didn't handle himself well. This came from the man who didn't handle his exit well AT ALL. I kept wondering where his glass (or sippy cup) were, with his drink of choice. I applauded JJ for saying that Kaitlyn owed it to herself to explore all relationships, including one with Nick. It made me respect him more, after standing up for Katitlyn and her feelings. It's a shame that others couldn't see that, and understand that at the end of the day, this was her season, and her rules to break.

I love the hot seat discussions! I'm sad that Tony didn't get time in the hot seat (hell, he was a muppet last night!), but I don't make the rules. Seeing JJ take the hot seat, and deal with watching the scene where he slaps himself for the incident with Clint was priceless! I'll never forget the famous line "Villains gotta vill'. Jared said it well...JJ was an acquired taste, but he grew to love him. I can't wait to see him in action on Bachelor In Paradise!

Every time I see Ben Z., I get all warm and tingly! This guy is a catch, and it as great to see him in the hot seat to discuss his relationship with Kaitlyn. There's no denying that they had an amazing connection, and he felt blindsighted when she sent him home. I felt bad when he had to talk about the 'wake' ceremony during the group date in Ireland. That was the first time he didn't feel like he was on the same page as Kaitlyn, and the walls came back up. I know she was uncomfortable to put him through that, and I can't help but think if he wasn't on that particular date, maybe things would have been different. I guess we will never know. Regardless, this sensitive hottie won't have any trouble finding women who want to spend time with him!

Jared, Jared...I'm SO happy you got rid of the facial hair! You're so cute, you don't need to hide your face under the spotty beard. It was great to see him talk about how easy it was to fall in love with Kaitlyn. Just like a jilted boyfriend, he also said it was hard to hear Kaitlyn question her decisions when she let him go at the rose ceremony. I bet there will come a point where he get tired of hearing 'Linger' by The Cranberries playing repeatedly. Not to worry, Jared...you'll have some fun in Mexico this summer on Bachelor In Paradise!

My favourite hot seat moment was when Ben H. took the stage. This is a guy who everyone loves, even if he thinks he is unlovable. It was obvious that he hell really hard for Kaitlyn, and he felt all the emotions come back when watching the video of his time on the show. Not getting closure is tough in any situation, but brutal on a show like this. I think it was worse that he had to share a room with Shawn in San Antonio! Knowing that something happened while he was out of the room, and feeling like he was the outsider must have been awful to deal with. Ben's a pretty smart cookie, and saw that it was obvious she had stronger feelings for the two other men. My guess is that he will have plenty of women chasing him after this!

Finally, Kaitlyn took the hot seat, and discusses all the hate people have spread about her. As the lead on a show like this, I can only imagine that you need to have a thick skin, and try not to let comments get to you. However, when the strain affects family, and threats on a person's life are made, that is inexcusable. You don't need to like Kaitlyn, or approve of her decisions, but you need to respect that the choices she makes are HERS. Kaitlyn acknowledged that she made mistakes along the way, and I can imagine that anyone in her shoes would stumble along the way.

I think it's really easy for people to make judgements while sitting behind their laptop, or typing on their smartphone. What makes it unacceptable is when you hurl vicious comments and threats at her, and people can see the bullying take place. Karma bites back hard. Hopefully, it reaches out to people who like to prey on others online.

I think Kaitlyn handled the questions from the men with as much grace and honesty as she could. Again, I can't imagine being her, and she was the one who had to evaluate each relationship, and deal with the people accordingly. It was her season, her way of handling things. I don't want to rehash each question, but I think what Kaitlyn said to the men about trying to date that many men at once and not making a mistake is true. It's easy to judge, because we're not in her shoes. I also thought it was cool that she accepted Ian's apology, saying she appreciated it, and his sincerity. He was a jerk to her the night he left, so taking the high road and moving on was classy on her part.

I'm looking forward to next week's finale! It should be a wild ride, with two bachelors that couldn't hate each other more meeting Kaitlyn's family. That should be interesting. I would love to hear your thoughts on who you you think will/should get the final rose!

Until next time...xo
Welcome to San Antonio, Ya'all!

Hello lovelies! I'm still thinking about the insanity that went down on last night's episode. Between the tension between the men and Nick, Joshua lying to the bachelors about his chat with Kaitlyn, and Ian's verbal beatdown of Kaitlyn at the cocktail ceremony, there was enough drama and fireworks to light up the San Antonio sky! Never a dull moment in Bachelorette territory. Grab your bevvies, and let the games begin!

We all knew that the addition of Nick to the mix would cause some tension, but you could have become a human Popsicle from the chilly reception he received when he entered the suite! The guys wasted no time grilling him about why he was there, why he waited four weeks to contact Kaitlyn, and what his intentions were towards her. I had to applaud Nick for standing his ground, and saying he didn't need anyone to like him. He was there for Kaitlyn, plain and simple. If they didn't have a connection, she wouldn't have asked him to move in with the others. Of course, where there are storm clouds, there will be a huge hail storm of drama! Stay tuned.

I have to admit, having the cocktail party and Rose Ceremony at City Field was really cool. How many people can say they ran bases in an empty baseball stadium that was home to the New York Mets? In Kaitlyn's case, not many can say they were carried over all of the bases! While Jonathan was busy trying to score on the field with Kaitlyn, trouble was brewing inside. Joshua's growing dislike for Nick was adding pressure to the situation, and Shawn was telling Kaitlyn that Nick was full of crap. I couldn't have said it better! Kaitlyn's response to Nick is to trust her. At the end of the day, she needs to figure out who she has the best connections are with. That's why she's The Bachelorette!

The Rose Ceremony begins, and everyone is nervous. Cupcake Chris, Jared, and Justin already have roses at this point. Here's how it went down:

Ben H, Ben Z, Shawn B., Tanner, Joe, Ian, JJ, Joshua, and Nick receive roses. The men are angry that Nick is still there, but Kaitlyn obviously needs more time to figure out if their connection is real, and if she did the right thing allowing him to stay. Next stop on the tour d'amour is San Antonio, Texas! Giddy up...it's going to be a bumpy ride!

The men arrive at their suite at the gorgeous Knickerbocker hotel, and the mood has completely changed. This is what happens when you throw a new guy into the mix that no one wants around. Luckily for Ben H., he gets the first date of the week, and it's a 1:1 with Kaitlyn. The date card says "Let's take our love one step at a time." Little does he know what he's about to be doing! Kaitlyn picks him up in a sassy, pimped out red 1950 Ford pickup truck, and they take off for a day of two-step dancing! They may not have been the best dancers on the floor, but they were awfully cute together. Huge props to Ben H. for all the lip biting. It's cute as hell! Kaitlyn seems to love it, too! ;)

While they're out getting their dance fever on, the next date card arrives. It's a group date, so everyone is curious to see who doesn't end up on it. That will be the person who gets the next 1:1 with Kaitlyn. All of the men are on the date card, except Shawn B, who will receive the 1:1 date. The date card says "I love a man in uniform". She didn't say what kind of uniform they would be wearing. I can't wait to see how this turns out!

During the evening portion of the date, Kaitlyn is happy to be with Ben H, and really wants to get to know him better. He shares that his previous relationship was 100% long-distance from the start, but has trouble opening up to her about it. With her encouragement, he tells her that his ex said she lost the chase in their relationship. We have all heard the expression "It's the thrill of the chase". When you lose that desire to pursue someone, it's game over for relationships. Many of us have been there, and it's not fun, so I feel for Ben H. Kaitlyn obviously did, too, as she offers him the rose, and we see that their relationship progressed, as she hoped it would.

The next day, the bachelors arrive at the group date, and find out that they will need to dress up like Mariachi singers, write an original song, and serenade Kaitlyn with the help of a mariachi band! If a cute kid from San Antonio can do it, no doubt a group of men can step up to the challenge!

Let's face it...none of these men will win a Grammy for their performances, but they'll get Oscars for being great sports! Joe serenade of "Kaitlyn, will you mariachi me" was cute and corny, Ian crashed and burned out of the running, and Nick stole the show with his over-the-top, take her to the balcony to screech at her performance, As showy as it was, he stole the show with the performance, and made a huge impression on kissy Kaitlyn.

During the evening portion of the date, Kaitlyn almost scalped Joshua with the crappy clippers she used to give him a Mohawk! Taking a chunk of his hair out from one side of his head seemed like poetic justice for what he was about to do. Hair grows back, but lies tend to stick with you for a while. Hope Joshua learned his lesson after this date.

Nick spends his 1:1 time making out with Kaitlyn, and telling her no one has been rude to his face yet. When he returns to the group, everyone stops talking. Joshua doesn't trust Nick, and tells him so. Nick tels him he doesn't need to trust him, as he's there for Kaitlyn. Joshua wastes all his alone time with Kaitlyn telling her how he called Nick out on what his intentions were for Kaitlyn, and how he spends all his time talking about his time on Andi's season of the show. He has no idea that he's shooting himself in the foot, and is about to face the firing squad for his lies.

Kaitlyn says he's stressing her out with this information, and confronts the men about all the things Joshua said to her. She wants to know if they have been honest with her. She calls Joshua out on everything he said and no one speaks out to back him up. They all say Nick's presence in the group doesn't affect their relationships with her. Joshua is upset, saying they threw him under the bus. Nick ends up getting the group rose, and Kaitlyn tells them she thinks Nick is there for the right reasons.

The final 1:1 date with Shawn B. is a kayak adventure, and Kaitlyn is really excited to spend time with him. They had an instant connection when he got out of the limo the first night, and it's obvious the connection has grown on this date. Hell, the girl's talking about how she loves his voice and the way he smells. Kaitlyn is a smitten kitten! Shawn tells Kaitlyn he feels bad about what happened with Joshua last night. He knows some guys held back their true feelings, and Joshua took the brunt of the heat during the date.

Shawn is thankful to be there with her, and opens up about the huge accident he had five years earlier. He was told he should not have survived, and this makes him appreciate everything in life even more. Shawn lets his guard down, and tells Kaitlyn he's falling in love with her. She tells him she's falling in love with him, too, which doesn't usually happen on the show until the end! Obviously, Kaitlyn follows her own rules, but it caught up in the moment, which shows her vulnerability. I will say they are cute as hell together! Dating a sweet, considerate Ryan Gosling look-a-like would work for me, too! Kaitlyn offers Shawn the rose, and the date ends with them watching fireworks together.

At the cocktail party the next evening, Ian is about to unleash fireworks of his own. He doesn't feel a connection with Kaitlyn, and thinks he's not being noticed by her the way he should be. Joshua is still stressing about what went down on the group date, and thinks his days are numbered, too. Ian's ranting about how she's not half as hot as his ex, how he has no trouble getting women to sleep with him at home, and how he should be The Bachelor was seriously testing my gag reflexes!

While Kaitlyn is off making out with the other men, Ian is practically writing his own exit interview. The snowball he creates for himself becomes an avalanche, after he lays into Kaitlyn about how he's there to find a wife, not the superficial stuff she seems to be into. He questions her intentions, saying she's there to kiss guys and not find a husband. Calling her a surface person and shallow isn't exactly endearing, and I'm sure there will be a firestorm from Kaitlyn when she has a chance to respond to his complaints about her. Say what you want about Kaitlyn, but his comments were incredibly rude and hurtful. These cliffhangers are killing me!!

What do you think about Kaitlyn's decision to keep Nick on the show? Do you agree with Ian's comments about Kaitlyn? There have been a LOT of complaints about the current season. Are you still Team Kaitlyn? I would love to hear your thoughts!

The Bachelorette Rolls into NYC!

Hello lovelies! I hope you took cover during the latest episode of The Bachelorette...looks like Hurricane Nick is coming in for Kaitlyn, fast and furious! Batten down the hatches - there's going to be some HUGE waves in the house for the rest of the season! Grab your drinks. and buckle up. This is going to be a wild ride!

Like everyone else who watched Andi's season of The Bachelorette last year, I saw how charming Nick was while he was vying for her affections. Sadly, we all know how that story ended, and everything crashed and burned for them. The final nail in the coffin was their reunion on the After The Final Rose episode, when Nick called Andi out for sleeping with him in the Fantasy Suite, and rejecting him days later at the Final Rose ceremony. Nick cemented himself into the category of Douchebag of the Year for 2014! Having said this, I'm sure you're all wondering why Kaitlyn would want someone like this on her season. Does she think he would potentially pull something like this on her? How could she possibly be interested in someone who did something so nasty? I'll share my thoughts with you later in the post. Stay tuned!

OK, let's get back to the show! Last time we saw Kaitlyn, she was out for blood, and wanted Clint out of the house for good. I guess when you call someone "The biggest douche in Bachelor history", you don't want to try and have a relationship with that person. Just my opinion! Our girl pulls Clint aside for a private chat, where she tells him she doesn't trust him, and wants him out of the house. The drama starts to take a wild turn when JJ turns on his bromantic partner, and demands that Clint apologize to Kaitlyn for his actions. A huge fight breaks out, the bromance is over, and both men are more upset about their broken relationship than Kaitlyn's feelings! Try and figure that riddle out.

I'm still wondering if this duo knew what show they were on this season. JJ crying over the fight with Clint made me wonder if he was going to ride away with him into the night. Who does the screening for this show? I would have sent more than half of the guys home. Poor Kaitlyn is getting a raw deal with this crazy bunch.

Once the dust settles, Kaitlyn apologized for the drama, and cancelled the rose ceremony. Everyone gets to pack up for NYC. The show is officially going on the road for the rest of the season. I think everyone was more upset about the fact that JJ wasn't booted along with Clint, but I'm sure his time will come soon enough. Most villains never vill until the end! ;)

The week in NYC starts with the guys receiving their first date card. Jonathan, Justin, Ben Z., Corey, Ryan, Tanner, JJ and Shawn are invited by Kaitlyn with a note, saying "Let's keep our love fresh". It turned out to be a rap battle session date, with special guest Doug E. Fresh. I love rap music, and was SUPER impressed by this date. To me, this is the best date so far. The guys had to battle in pairs, being judged on their skills and how much fun their rap-off was in front of a live audience. What the guys don't see is that Nick is watching from the back of the room. They're in for a world of drama very soon!

The rap battles are fun, with some dissing and hissing mixed in with humour. I was more interested in seeing Kaitlyn's reaction to seeing Nick when she went over to say hi to her fellow Bachelor contestant Ashley I. (otherwise known as Kardashley!). I'm really looking forward to seeing her drama and fireworks on Bachelor In Paradise this summer, but that's a whole other blog post. Back to Kaitlyn and Nick! For those who are not in the loop, Kaitlyn met Nick through social media, but they never met in person. They have traded messages and texts, so this is their first official meeting. How appropriate that it's on a reality show. Totally random, of course! Nick tells Kaitlyn that he wants a shot at getting to know her, before she potentially meets someone else and gets engaged. She says she needs to think about it, and tells the other bachelors what has happened.

Naturally, no one wants Nick to come into the picture. Some of the men knew what he did on his season of The Bachelorette, and those who didn't know received the watered down version, and wanted no part of him, either. We all know having Nick is ratings gold, but will have to wait for Kaitlyn to give her official decision later. In the meantime, Jared gets a date card for a 1-1 date with Kaitlyn. She also needs to hand out the group rose, and gives it to Justin.

Kaitlyn calls Nick and tells him to meet her where she's getting her hair done for her 1-1 date, so they can talk about him potentially coming into the house with the other men. After their chat, she decides to let him stay (was there any doubt!?), but tells him not to move into the house until the next day. She needs time to tell the men about this decision. She says there is chemistry between her and Nick, and she needs to explore it.

OK, let me get back to my earlier comments about Nick joining the show. It's been four weeks, and Kaitlyn has already built several solid connections with the men on this season. Should someone like Nick be able to join this far into the season? Why should she bother with someone who people consider a douche for what he did to Andi? The answer is pretty simple. It's Kaitlyn's season. She has a say on what she wants to see happen. We also know she has established a connection with Nick, and has chemistry with him. Is he an ass for what he did in the past? Absolutely. Do I think he will cause more drama and trouble this season? Most likely. However, we also know that lust overshadows like or love, and the heart wants what it wants. If Kaitlyn didn't let him join the show, she may live with regrets and doubt. She could also have let it cloud all the other dates and potential relationships that come out of this season.

In the end, we know having Nick is ratings gold, and there is no way this opportunity was going to be missed. It sets a strange precedent, as we will probably see a lot more of this happening on future seasons, but let's see how this bombshell plays out!

I feel pretty bad for Jared on his 1-1. Kaitlyn obviously isn't into it at first, as she is thinking about Nick, and how her decision will affect everyone else. Thankfully. she shakes it off, sees that he's a genuinely good guy, and they enjoy their private time at the Met, and the private helicopter ride after the date. Jared gets the rose. That's pretty much all I have to say about the date. It was more thought than Kaitlyn had originally put into it!

Kaitlyn wakes up the next morning, second guessing her decision about letting Nick stay and move in with the guys. I don't blame her for being worried about telling the others. It's going to be a chilly night in Bacheloretteville! She shows up for the next group date, and tells everyone that Nick is moving in tonight, and will be part of the rose ceremony. Naturally, no one is happy, and the tension can be cut with a chainsaw! Kaitlyn leaves them to discuss everything, Her theory is that she not 100% confident in her decision, but has to follow her heart. I'm sure there are many women watching who would agree. You may not always make the best decision, but following your heart usually wins over thinking about matters of the heart logically.

The final group date takes everyone on stage with the Broadway cast of Aladdin. Ian, Chris, Joe, Joshua, and Ben H. received a simple message from Kaitlyn on the date card: "Let's play". The men need to complete a Broadway audition, complete with singing and dancing, The winner will be on stage with Kaitlyn that night for a performance of Aladdin. I will admit that the guys did a great job learning the choreography, and singing for their private time with Kaitlyn. After everyone completes their audition, Cupcake Chris wins, and gets to stay with Kaitlyn for the night performance, while everyone else goes back to then hotel.

Kaitlyn and Chris enjoy their brief moment on stage during the show, then go on the roof of a building in Times Square to hang out with the ball that is dropped in Times Square on New Year's Eve. Another pretty cool thing, I must admit. Chris gets a rose.

I loved the cliffhanger at the end of the episode, showing Nick coming into the hotel, going up the elevator, and heading towards the hotel room to move in with the guys. He knows they will all hate him, but I'm sure he's going to be able to hold his own. What do you think will happen next week? Do you think there will be a new bromance in the works? Will anyone become Nick's new buddy? Stay tuned! I'm sure next week will be full of more drama and fireworks!

Until next time...xo

Hello lovelies! I'm still trying to process everything that went down last night. My head is spinning. I'm sure you can relate. Just when I thought it couldn't get more ridiculous, the crazy meter kept spiraling out of control. I know everyone has their opinions about what happened, and we have tons to dish about. Grab your bevvies, and let the games begin!

I think it's safe to say that Kupah made one of the most unforgettable exits ever on any season of The Bachelorette. I don't know where he was schooled on how to treat a woman, or even talk to one, but he needs to take a class at summer school, stat! Having a meltdown on national television won't score him bonus points with the ladies, either. I'm so glad he was able to take his final drink along on the drive of shame away from the mansion. Too bad it wasn't in a sippy cup. That's all the big baby deserved after that performance! Is anyone going to send that video clip in to be considered for an Oscar? The boy would win, hands down!

Once the dust settled, here's the list of bachelors who received roses at the rose ceremony:

Clint, JJ, Jared, Ben E., Shawn B., Jonathan, Tanner, Chris, Ryan, Justin, Ian, Joshua, Joe, Corey, Tony. Kaitlyn sends Daniel and Cory packing.

The first date of the week is a group date, where the guys and Kaitlyn get lessons on sumo wrestling. I can't speak for other women, but I'm not one to get all hot and bothered watching men strut around in nothing but a diaper thong! Granted, it's nice to see the guys wearing very little, but seeing a group of men wearing a crazy looking undergarment was overkill for me! Watching Tony have a mini PMS meltdown was the icing on a very crazy cakewalk date. That guy is way too sensitive, and all I have to say to him is Namaste, dude.

While Tony stayed behind at the house to think about whether or not he wanted to out on the big boy diaper and join the other cool kids on the group date, Kaitlyn and the guys were prepping for a sumo exhibition. After a lesson with the professional sumo wrestlers, the men competed against each other in the exhibition, to see who the last man standing will be. JJ is up first against Joe, and Joe won, Joe then faced Clint, and Clint is the winner. I think the crowds were too busy watching the junk flying out of their trunks to actually watch and see who won!

Meanwhile, Tony decides to leave the house after a great deal of whining and complaining to the remaining men at the house. Of course, in true Bachelorette fashion, he has to crash the evening portion of the date to let Kaitlyn know what he has decided. Something tells me I don't think Kaitlyn will lose sleep over this decision, but whatever gives Tony some zen. I'm sure his Bonsai tree will be thrilled to see him come home early.

Back to the evening portion of the group date. Cupcake Chris makes the first move to get quality time alone with Kaitlyn, while Clint decided to play Easy Rider and ignore her. Did he forget that he's the one who needs to pursue the girl, not the other way around? Mistake number one for this clown! This is the start of his huge fall from grace in Kaitlyn's eyes. Shawn, however, makes up for Clint's mistake by telling Kaitlyn how much he enjoys any time he gets alone with her, and how hard he has fallen for her. Flattery gets you everyone, my friend. Shawn scores the group rose, and Kaitlyn calls Clint out for ignoring her. Let this be a lesson to men everywhere...women want to know you're into them! Talk to them, give them attention, and don't assume they know. Little things go a long way, and are never unnoticed!

The next date is a 1-1 Chris Harrison arranges for Kaitlyn and Ben Z. Kaitlyn calls him a 'Babe Soda'. I have never heard of this before, and have no idea what flavour he would be. I'm going with Cream Soda because it's a tasty drink. The same can be said for Ben Z! Chris H. sends them to The Basement, a dark warehouse they get locked into, and need to figure out a code to get them out of the building.

Between the birds, maggots on the floor, blood on the walls and limb on the ceiling, I don't blame Kaitlyn for screaming as much as she did. Two great things came out of the experience. Kaitlyn gets to cling to sexy Ben Z (a LOT!), and she sees that she can trust him to calm her in extremely stressful situations. The pair had 45 minutes to figure out the code to get them out of the building (it was 'roses', and they only figure it out during the last seconds). Once they're out, they go from lock down to lip lock! Back at the Kaitlyn's house, they order pizza, and Ben tells her how he wants a family, and about the day his mother passed away, and how he never cried on that day. In fact, he hasn't cried in 11 years. The date ends in the hot tub, where he accepts the rose she offers, and their lip lock continues!

The final date of the week is a group date where the bachelors are substitute teachers who teach sex education to school children. They are given 15 minutes to plan their lessons, based on the subjects they are provided. They have no idea that the children are actually child actors, and Kaitlyn never tells them the truth. It was hilarious to watch the guys stumble through their presentations, but I'm sure that some parents who were watching the show were probably horrified at the thought of something like this actually happening in a class their children was participating in.

The evening portion of the group date was much tamer, and Joshua gets the first Kaitlyn steal of the night. He tells her that he had his first kiss in college. She thinks he really needs to step it up, probably because she's already made out with half of the guys! Ben H. earns huge points on this date, saying he sees her as his girlfriend. It's Jared, though, who gets the ultimate private time with Kaitlyn in her hotel room. She thinks he's all man, and is extremely attracted to him. Unfortunately, she gives the group rose to Ben H instead of Jared.

I think the real action took place back at the house on this night. Clint and JJ were spending quality time with each other in the hot tub. How bromantic! Clint said he connected more with JJ than Kaitlyn. He fell in love with JJ! This is one of the craziest pairings in Bachelor history, but whatever works for them. I can't wait to see how this bromance plays out.

At the cocktail party. Kaitlyn is concerned about the friction in the house, and the people who backpedaled in the process. Clint is already thinking that Kaitlyn isn't the one for him, but that doesn't stop him from getting private time with her. She is happy, but concerned about him taking a step back that week. He apologizes for his actions, as a way to save face. He still wants a rose, even though he's not interested in her. JJ and Clint are extremely cool and cocky about where they stand in the house, and mentions that "Villains gotta vill". I hope that phrase is killed the minute his overconfident butt is kicked out of the house! The douche meter is out of control at this point.

Fortunately for Kaitlyn, the other men have her back. Joshua lets her know how two-faced the dynamic duo is, and she tells him others have already alerted her to what they are doing. If 13 out of 15 bachelors are saying the same thing, you know villains gotta vill on the street! The show ends, as Kaitlyn decided to get rid of Clint. You go, girl! I appreciate how she doesn't waste time taking the trash to the curb, where it belongs.

I can't wait to see how this story plays out! Until next time...xo

Let The First Dates Begin!

Hello lovelies! I know I'm not the only one who thought that silence may be golden, but muzzles should have been used on last night's episode! One thing is for sure...there were tons of fireworks on hand to close out Memorial Weekend for our wonderful neighbours in the US! I would love to fast forward and talk about the end of the show, but we have much more to cover before then. Grab your bevvies, fasten your seat belts, and let the games begin!

You know it's not the start of the season without Chris Harrison visiting the star of the show to see how she's doing. I still appreciate that Kaitlyn asked about Britt again, to make sure she was OK. Regardless of what some people may think of Kaitlyn (more on that later!), she has been very classy with how she has handled her new title and the situation as a whole. She's definitely ready to get to know the men, and start the dating process!

Britt calls her mom from the hotel room, letting her know she was not going to be the next Bachelorette. She had a mini crying session, which was quickly forgotten after Brady showed up at her door. One hug later, and these two are about to start their own journey to find love!

The first date involves the men literally fighting for Kaitlyn's affections, as they have a boxing session with champion boxer Laila Ali. Daniel, Justin, Jared, Corey, Tanner, Cooper, Ben H., and Ben Z. are brought along for the wild ride. I have to admit, it was fun to watch the men step out of their comfort zone to impress Kaitlyn. They stepped up to the challenge, and delivered in the boxing ring. I think Kupah forgot that he was actually on a date, and needed to spend time with Kaitlyn. Someone buy this man a clue!

Kaitlyn sat ringside, and watched the men pair off and spar to move on to additional rounds. Jared was one of the men who stood out the most, but he was unfortunately knocked out by Ben Z. in the final round, and was sent to the hospital. Talk about taking one for the team!

Ben Z. is one of the standouts on this date, opening up to Kaitlyn in private about his mother passing away of cancer when he was 14. The emotional connections are just as important to Kaitlyn as the physical ones, and he ends up getting the group rose and a kiss. Jared gets a huge Honourable Mention, sending her a private note to meet her downstairs for his own time with Kaitlyn. Browine points and a kiss go to him. Game on!

This week's 1-1 date goes to Clint, who is whisked away by Kaitlyn for a underwater photo shoot at a private villa. Kaitlyn is still impressed by the drawing he created for her of Chris Harrison with the triceratops (which trumps any of the stick figure drawings I have ever created!). I thought this date was incredibly cool. You could see the two of them getting more comfortable with each other as the photo shoot took place. The pictures were stunning, and the chemistry between Kaitlyn and Clint was undeniable. Having an underwater photo shoot is now on my list of fun things to try! Needless to say, Clint gets the rose, and a makeout session. Is anyone keeping score of how many times Kaitlyn kissed the bachelors in the episode? I'll give you the final tally at the end of this post

The final date of the week was a group date that took place at a comedy club. This time. Kaitlyn brought along JJ, Jonathan, Joshua, Chris, Ian, Joe, and Tony along for the ride. It was nice to see the men squirm on this date, and some of them truly stepped up for their performances on stage. I love how Amy Schumer took JJ down a notch, telling him he wasn't the smartest person in the room. Personally, I think he's the breakout jackass of the season, proving that arrogance is NOT an attractive quality in a man! Sadly, Kaitlyn only sees one side of him, as JJ reels her in on the emotional tip while talking about his three year-old daughter. The rest of the group sees him for the player he really is! For his efforts, JJ gets the group rose.

If JJ is the breakout jackass, then Tony is the breakout Fruit Loop! Saying things like "You're an enigma, wrapped in a riddle', and referring to Kaitlyn as '..a combination lock, not a key turn', makes me want a reference guide to understand what the hell he's talking about!

Finally, I get to dish about the best part of the episode - the cocktail party, and fireworks that take place at the end of the episode! JJ starts the night off on a negative tone, by stealing Kaitlyn for private time. Buddy, you already have a rose, and the men agreed to let the men who didn't get a date with Kaitlyn that week have time with her first. To quote his ridiculous line: Sorry, I'm not sorry. You're an ass!

I am very impressed that Ian finally scored points with Kaitlyn, and surprised her (and me!) with his compassion, and opens up to her about his horrible accident. She felt incredibly comfortable with him, and made the emotional connection they needed. I hope these two get more time together on future episodes. He definitely stepped up as a contender, and scored a kiss from Kaitlyn (total kiss tally for this episode - 6! Go Kaitlyn!)

Finally, we arrive at the moment of the night. Leave it to Kupah to singlehandedly blow his chances of moving on to the next round of dates. This is the guy who made no effort to talk to Kaitlyn on the group boxing date, and he accuses her of ignoring him up to this point. The irony is that Kaitlyn felt a connection with him up until this point, and wanted to discuss his lack of interest in her on the group date. To add fuel to the inferno he created, he puts her on the spot, asking why he's still there. Telling a girl 'I don't want to be here if I'm the minority guy who fills a quota.' isn't going to win you brownie points, Einstein. Congratulations...you just moved to the top of Kaitlyn's list of men who will get the boot!

The hits kept coming, as Kupah started backpedaling after Kaitlyn told him he talked her out of their connection. Flattery after the fact will get you nowhere fast, as we saw a few minutes later. A word of advice, Kupah...make sure the girl is out of earshot before you dissect your conversation with the other bachelors. I love how Kaitlyn stepped in and gave him the boot after he removed the filter, and kept the verbal babble coming. His meltdown for the cameras was the stuff reality TV dreams are made of! I can't wait to see the conclusion of this towering blaze next week!

It was pretty hard to top that hot mess at the end of the show, but showing Britt and Brady's progression of their week long date sessions end with them entering a relationship shows quickly fast things can happen on a reality show. We all know that this isn't the norm in the real world, but hey-whatever works for them! I'm sure we'll have many more updates on these two as the season progresses.

What did you think of last night's episode? I would love to hear your thoughts. Make sure to join me on Twitter next Monday, as we tweet out the drama and fireworks!

Until next time...xo

Hello lovelies! Another premiere of The Bachelorette is in the books...what a wild ride that was! I am still trying to process everything that happened in both episodes, but I'm happy that the men chose Kaitlyn as this season's Bachelorette. It will definitely be a season filled with surprises, drama and fireworks. Grab your bevvies, and let's get this party started!

I'm not even going to pretend that I wanted Britt to come out on top. For me, Kaitlyn was always the front runner. She's beautiful, funny, spunky, and will definitely add a lot of spice to this season. I'm sure she'll be pushing the envelope on dates, breaking some rules, and take no prisoners. She has already set the bar high for most kisses on the premiere episode! Judging by the reactions of some of the bachelors, there will be a lot of people fighting for kissy face time with our girl Kaitlyn!

I won't drag out this post and analyze everything that happened last night, but I wanted to focus on a few of the highlights that stuck out for me. First, even though I'm not Team Britt, I did feel bad when I saw her react to Chris Harrison telling her she would not be the next Bachelorette. Obviously, Britt was riding a high wave of confidence after meeting her potential suitors. No one wants to be a runner-up in a contest, especially when it comes to being the center of attention for 25 men! She handled the news with class and composure in front of Chris, instead of having a Britt ugly cry we saw last season on The Bachelor! She scored some points for that. I'm sure she'll get some comfort in the form of a potential suitor...more on that later!

Kaitlyn's reaction to finding out she was the next Bachelorette was priceless! I liked how she asked if Britt was OK after hearing she wasn't chosen. That was a classy move. She didn't have much time to get used to the news before heading in to chat with the men, who immediately started fighting for her attention and affection!

Watching the bachelors who voted for Britt stress out over making a connection with Kaitlyn was interesting. They all felt an instant connection with Britt, and were afraid to be sent home before having any chance of making an attempt to connect with Kaitlyn (and have the opportunity to see the world, paid for by ABC!). I loved and appreciated Jared's honesty in telling Kaitlyn that he voted to keep Britt. Like Kaitlyn said, honesty is always appreciated. It's a duel edged sword to be so candid with the truth, but it also showed that Jared was honest and straightforward in his intentions. Shame others weren't more like him...but that would make for lower ratings. It all boils down to ratings, people!

Here are my standouts from last night's episode:

Shawn B. may as well have proposed to her at first sight! The guy is crushing on her big time. Their chemistry is obvious (hello first impression rose and kissy face session!). He'll be around all season.

Tony isn't happy that he has to share a well with the rest of the men for Kaitlyn's affections. Tell you what, buddy...I'll buy you a shovel. Go home and dig one there. You were into Britt, anyway!

Poor Brady was devastated that Britt wasn't chosen as the Bachelorette. Good thing he removed himself from the running, and wants to try and date Britt. If you follow the show on social media, you probably already know how this turned out. I won't spoil it for you, but a simple search on Google on Twitter will answer that burning question for you.

I have to give Chris the dentist props for going in for the kill on the first kiss with Kaitlyn! If we know anything about her from last season, she tends to like this sort of assertiveness. I'm sure we'll see a LOT more of this throughout the season.

Men who open up to Kaitlyn will get a lot farther in the pecking order! Case in point: JJ opening up in his private time with Kaitlyn scored him huge brownie points. Take note of this, gentlemen...women really appreciate your willingness to open up! Try it more often. :)

After the first rose ceremony, here's who was left standing: Shawn B., Chris, Ben H., JJ, Joe, Kupah, Daniel, Ryan B., Joshua, Tony, Clint, Cory Stansell, Jonathan, Cory Shivar, Ben Z., Tanner, Ian, Justin, Jared.

To be honest, I was more excited about the preview clips of what we will be seeing in upcoming episodes than the actual rose ceremony! Having Nick come back as a suitor for Kaitlyn is crazy! After coming in second to Josh Murray on Andi's season of The Bachelorette, and seeing him drop the bomb about her sleeping with him on their overnight date, I never thought we would see him on another season. I wonder how the other men will handle the news that these two have a bit of a history. Kaitlyn admitting that she slept with one of the men is also interesting. How she shares this information could be a potential time bomb. Guess we will find out soon enough! Bring on the drama, fireworks, and beefcake!

Until next time...xo

Hello lovelies! I had to dust off the blog for the new season of The Bachelorette after I found out there would be TWO women competing for the title of The Bachelorette. I'm still reeling from Part One of the season premiere. We have lots to dish about, so grab your beverage of choice, and let's get this party started!

Like many other people who watch the Bachelor franchise of shows on a regular basis, I was very skeptical about the approach for this season of The Bachelorette. Putting two women in front of the mansion to meet 25 bachelors, then having the men vote for who they want as The Bachelorette seems crazy! Then again, all's fair in love, drama and Nielsen Ratings! Last night's episode drew in 7.2 million viewers! That's HUGE! I'm not sure if they will keep up those numbers for the entire season, but for a premiere, that's impressive. Anyway, on with the show.

It's no secret that these ladies aren't exactly close friends, but they did a really great job of being civil for the cameras. I have been Team Kaitlyn since I found out she was in the running for the Bachelorette, but I can see the appeal Britt has for the bachelors, as well. She's very attractive and seems to say all the right things to men, However, I think Kaitlyn's laid back attitude and great sense of humour is much more appealing to the bachelors. I hope she comes out on top in tonight's episode.

I will be providing a more detailed breakdown of my thoughts of the bachelors after tonight's episode, but wanted to share a few of my highlights from Part One of the season premiere:

I laughed when I heard Tony using the same line on both women! I can only imagine how many women can relate to being in a situation like this one.

Shawn E. rolling up in the hot tub car was hilarious! If nothing else, I give him points for being original. At least he didn't have to fight for time in the hot tub out back!

Chris should have left the cupcake car in the box! Seriously...use the limo. There are better ways to make an entrance. Bring a cupcake with extra frosting instead. Most women love a sweet treat (unless Chris mistakenly thought that's what they would think of him when they saw him get out of the cupcake).

Any guy who give the Bachelorette butterflies at first sight is a keeper! Brady and Shawn are my early favourites!

Ryan McDill - there aren't enough words in the dictionary to describe what an ass I think he is. I have renamed him Ryan McDouche. Total disaster from start to finish, and I'm glad Chris Harrison threw him out. He needs coffee and a serious detox session. He's also the ex-boyfriend of Nikki Ferrell, Juan Pablo's ex from his season of The Bachelor. Not sure what she saw in him, but here's hoping he stays single for a while.

It was interesting to see the ladies scramble for time with the men before they cast their votes on who would be the next Bachelorette. Usually, the mad scramble comes from the men trying to get time with the woman chosen as the Bachelorette. Both ladies have mad hustle game! I can't wait to see what the outcome is tonight.

Although I'm not a fan of having two women having to compete to be The Bachelorette, I'll admit that I was drawn in for the curiosity factor. To me, it made the experience of becoming The Bachelorette less special, and added to an already stressful situation. I'm sure once one of the ladies gets sent home, the experience will take an enormous turn in the right direction. I personally can't wait to see what happens next. Bring on the drama, tears, fireworks and roses!

I would love to hear your thoughts on last night's episode. Who do you think will be the next Bachelorette? Who are your favourite bachelors so far? Let me know! Hello lovelies! Wasn't that a great season premiere of the Bachelorette? There's nothing like a sassy, sexy and confident woman taking charge over 25 men, as she begins her quest to find love, romance and adventure through several countries. I hope ABC has stocked up on bubbly, Kleenex and waterproof mascara...looks like they'll need it for this season! Grab your drink of choice, and let the dishing begin!

I've said this before, and I will say it again. Andi is such a great choice for the Bachelorette! She is a successful woman with an amazing relationship with her family. She also gets brownie points for putting Juan Pablo in his place! I will never forget that moment, and I don't think the men on this season of the show will, either. It sets the tone for what I think will be an unforgettable journey for Andi.

I loved how Chris Harrison paid tribute to the sudden death of Eric Hill, one of the eliminated bachelors. Like everyone else, I was shocked at the news reports on how he passed away. Eric sounds like he was an incredible person who was as ambitious as he was adventurous. I am looking forward to seeing how his story played out on the show. It was obvious that Andi was intrigued by him. It's a tough situation to deal with, and one the Bachelor franchise has never dealt with before. At the very least, I applaud the show's acknowledgement of his untimely passing, and dedicating the season to his memory.

Let's skip right to the good stuff...the first night at the mansion! I liked the chat Andi had with her sister while she was getting ready for the men to arrive to meet her, but that was basically filler for the main event! Andi looked fabulous, and very anxious for her journey to begin. I was thinking 'Lucky girl...she has 25 men hand-picked for her to choose from, in a gorgeous setting!' As the limos pulled up to the mansion, I was taking notes on my early favorites:

Marcus - My first thought was that he was a serious cutie patootie!

Chris - Another looker. He'll be around for a while!

Marquel - Adorable, and super dapper!

Tasos - Loved when they made that wish outside the mansion!

Dylan - He was so nervous while he was checking her out! Very handsome.

Eric - I loved when he gave her the dolls! Very worldly and ambitious. However, let's be honest...only home three days a month?? He won't last long with that track record! :(

Josh M. - Tall, dark and handsome. Who doesn't like that??? :)

I loved how Andi was finally able to relax once she saw how nervous the men were about meeting her. It made the cocktail party more realistic. How would you react after meeting 25 strange men who were there to fight for your affection and a rose to stay in the game!? It's the same for a lot of men out there. Trying to speak to a beautiful, sexy, confident and intelligent woman surrounded by a large group of men could be equally intimidating.

It's always entertaining to watch the bachelors interact with the Bachelorette on the first night. Making that first impression is crucial when all you know about a person is their name and what they look like. I wasn't surprised to see Josh M. jump in to grab some personal time with Andi. He is obviously blown away by her, and she said he was her type, but I appreciated how she questioned how genuine he is being toward her. Obviously, she has first experience on dealing with that on the show! One of my favorite things Andi said during the premiere was that she was there and single for a reason. I don't think Josh is going anywhere for a while, but I look forward to seeing them interact on future episodes!

How cute was the cookie scene between Andi and Marquel?? Regardless of how far he gets on this season, I will always remember him fondly as the Cookie Dude. I would happily eat those Black & White cookies anytime, and am available for tastings in the future. Whoever said the key to a person's heart is through their stomach had a very good point. :)

I need to address the asshat moment on the show...yes, I mean the scenes with Chris Bukowski. Seriously, how many times does this guy need to be on a reality show?? Nothing made me happier than seeing Chris Harrison give him and his gas station roses the boot! The only thing that would have topped that would be seeing Andi kick him out...but she was busy dealing with the cuties inside the mansion. No doubt we'll see Chris on the Bachelor In Paradise show that will air later this summer. If you haven't heard about it, it will be a show similar to Temptation Island, and will bring back some Bachelor/Bachelorette favorites for another season of drama! I promise to cover it on a separate blog!

I would love to hear your thoughts on Andi's choice for the first impression rose! Nick was the lucky, or unlucky recipient of it, depending on how you look at it. Typically, getting that rose puts a huge target on the person that receives it, but I appreciated her reasons for giving it to Nick. Again, time will tell on how long he lasts this season. It definitely makes for great drama for everyone else that doesn't receive the rose!

I am looking forward to seeing more of Chis and Marcus in future episodes! I don't know many farmers who look THAT good in a suit, but I would happily line up to have him show me how to milk a cow...and I'm a die-hard city girl! As for Marcus, I'm sure he could learn how to ask for more than just ice and a drink in German and Polish for Andi's sake. He is definitely eye candy that will stick around for a while.

In case you missed the Rose Ceremony, here's how it went down:

Roses: Nick (first impression), JJ, Eric, Marquel, Craig, Tasos, Josh M., Brian, Bradley, Marcus, Andrew, Ron, Carl, Chris, Dylan, Brett, Patrick, Cody, Nick S.

No roses: Emil (sounds like anal...best line ever!), Rudie, Mike (the Thor lookalike), and Josh B, who gets the award for worst exit speech.

That's it for now! I hope you enjoyed the season premiere as much as I did. I look forward to dishing about the rest of the season every week! Take care, and enjoy the rest of your week!

Until next time...xo
A new season of The Bachelorette!!Hello lovelies! Are you as excited for Andi's season of The Bachelorette as I am?? In my opinion, any girl who is strong and sassy enough to stand up to whiny Juan Pablo and tell him off about how he treats women deserves a season of her own to find love! We finally get to see the start of her adventure tomorrow night! Fasten your seat belts...I think it will be a wild ride. ;)

I can't tell you how happy I am to be back to blogging about the show. I have lots of fun things planned, including a Bachelorette viewing party next month in Toronto! If you're in the GTA (or out of the area like I am!), and want to come out for a night of fun and dishing about the show, stay tuned for details! I'll be posting an invite on Facebook and Twitter this week! Mark June 23 in your calendars! It will be a fun girl's night out.

I'll keep this short and sweet for now, but I will have a full blog post about the season premiere and Andi's delicious bachelors on Tuesday. Make sure to tune in for the premiere tomorrow night at 9:30 PM EST on ABC (City TV in Canada). I know a lot of people weren't aware the show started tomorrow, so I wanted to remind you just in case!

That's all for now. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the premiere, Andi, the bachelors, and who you think are the early studs and duds of the season (lol). Dishing about the show is one of my favorite things, and I know many of you love to do this, as well.

Until next time...xoAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-524931738696456771.post-66991259456748281182013-06-17T18:53:00.000-04:002013-06-17T18:53:01.596-04:00Secrets, Lies, and Cowboy Boot Camp, Oh My! Someone's Got Some 'Splainin' To Do...Hello lovelies! Isn't it sweet how all the bachelors swear they have come on the show to find love, they're here for Des, and ready for a lifetime commitment? Clearly, some people will say anything to get onto a reality show! Saddle up, fill up your watering can with your bevvy of choice, and get your kickers on. This week's episode looks like it's going to be a bumpy ride! ;)

It's week three of The Bachelorette, which is a good time to start bringing out secrets some of the bachelors may be keeping from Des. The one Brian has been hiding is a doozy, but we'll get to that later. First. we have a date card that brings a group of the bachelors into a dodgeball battle against each other! The National Dodgeball League teaches the guys how to play the game, which will help when Des tells them they will battle it out on two teams. The winning team will get private time with her later.

The first major injury of the season takes place when Brooks breaks his finger, and is taken to the hospital to get it realigned. In the end, Des allows both teams to come along to the afterparty, so she can continue getting to know all of the bachelors. Brad privately mentions to Des that he has a three year-old son named Maddox, and his ex pulled him into a domestic violence situation, but the charges were dismissed.

Not to be outdone by the other bachelors, Brooks heads to the party after his trip to the hospital, which makes Des insanely happy and relieved! The rose eventually goes to Chris, who gets private time with Des, as well as a private concert with Kate Earl. I don't recall this guy saying more than three words to Des in the previous episodes, but I'm glad he was able to have some quality time with her.

The next day, Des is getting ready for her one-to-one date with Kasey, when the phone rings, It's Chris Harrison (dun dun dun!!!) calling with news of one of the bachelors having a girlfriend, and she needs to come to the mansion to confront him. Des takes Brian outside to speak with him privately, asking if there is anything he wants to tell her. Brian says nothing, and Chris comes out with Brian's girlfriend Stephanie to have the throwdown of the season.

To spare everyone from reading all the details, they were still together the night before Brian left to film the show, and he told her he needed time apart from her. She had no idea he was going to be on The Bachelorette. To add another layer to this crazy story, Stephanie used to date Craig Robinson from Ali's season of The Bachelorette, and was a Playboy Playmate! Talk about trying to boost ratings!

Needless to say, Des kicked Brian out, and had to get ready for her 1:1 date with Kasey. If this was the real world, there is no way any woman would want to go on a date with anyone after another guy blatantly lied to her about being single, and wanting to be there for her and to potentially fall in love and get engaged. They end up going on the date, which involves dancing on the side of the building. I was as interested in this date as Des was, as it's obvious she's not in the mood to be on a date with anyone at this point. The date was brutal from start to finish, and even though Kasey gets a rose, it's clear they are in the friend zone at this point. I don't see Kasey going too much further after this.

The next day, Des meets with the members of the second group date, which involves 'cowboy boot camp'. Des is dressed in a gorgeous purple gown, and explains that they will be working with the stunt team from the new movie 'The Lone Ranger'. The bachelors will learn how to lasso, draw pistols and fight for justice. The person who does the best job of saddling up to save the lady wins time with Des later.

I have to say that this was hilarious to watch, and a few of the bachelors stood out for me. Dan was a trooper when his pants split while he was competing, but he kept going. He gets props for that! Joan Pablo did everything while speaking Spanish the entire time. What woman doesn't love a sexy accent!? Des obviously did, as she chose him to be her Lone Ranger in the end! The two watched a private advance screening of The Lone Ranger movie and shared some smooch time. One thing is for sure...this little Spaniard is muy caliente! Later in the evening, James gets the rose from the group date.

The next day, Des throws a pool party for the guys, which replaces the cocktail party that was supposed to happen later in the evening. Before Des gets inside the house, Ben steals her away for a private ride in the Bentley, and some extra time with her. The guys see them kissing in the car later, and are jealous of the extra time he keeps getting with Des. To add insult to injury, Ben lies about the private time with Des, and Mikey calls him out on it. He tells Ben that he doesn't trust him.

Brandon spends his time with Des telling her that he doesn't want to see her get hurt, and that he's fallen in love with her already. Ummm...Brandon...didn't you get the memo? You leave this until you make the final three!! This to me is the kiss of death! If this was poker, I would say you never show anyone your cards, and you keep that poker face on as long as you can!

Finally, it's time for the rose ceremony. For those of you keeping score, Chris, Kasey, and James already have roses. The final roses are given to Bryden, Juan Pablo, Zak W., Brooks, Drew, Zach K., Brad, Michael G., Mikey, and Ben. Brandon looks like he's going to be sick, and Des follows him out to tell him privately that there was no chemistry. It was better to send him home now, instead of waiting until later. Dan is also sent home, who thinks Des has been completely duped by Ben.

Well, that episode was filled with secrets, lies and battle lines drawn! I can't wait to see what happens next time. We have seen a lot of roses being handed out already...now it's time to win some of your own! Hope you're enjoying the new season so far. Sorry for the delay in posting. Life can get a little crazy, and things sneak up on us. I spent some time in the naughty corner to make up for it, and am back to dish with you on the first dates! Grab your bevvies...here we go!

I liked that Des chose Brooks for the very first 1:1 date. Brooks hasn't had as much airtime as some of the other bachelors in the house, so it's nice to see him get some private face time with Des. I'm not sure about going to a wedding gown shop to start off the date trying on tuxedos, but if he didn't run away screaming at the sight of Des modeling bridal gowns, he just might be a keeper!

I do need to say that I'm disappointed in how so many of the previous season's dates/locations are being recycled on newer seasons of The Bachelor/Bachelorette. I'm sure the show can try to come up with more original things to see/do for the couples on the dates! The Hollywood sign dates have popped up several times, as has dinner on a blocked off bridge. I love the Bachelor shows, but let's try to step it up a bit by choosing other places for them to hang out on dates!! You have a private jet, helicopter, and Bentley...take them on a new adventure! OK, rant's over...back to the date...:)

Despite the recycled date locations, it's obvious there is a lot of chemistry between these two. They're both laid-back and clearly enjoyed each other's company. I'm sure Brooks is happy that he got the first kiss of the season! If anyone is keeping tabs on the kisses for this season, let me know. I'm sure a TON of them will be given to this little cutie, since he was offered a rose on the date.

Date number two for the week was a video shoot with Soulja Boy. Let's be honest...how many people thought a paper cut would be more comfortable for some of the guys, as opposed to starring in a rap video? That was about as painful to watch as getting a root canal without Novocaine! Who did you think gave the best performance during the video shoot?

I'll be totally honest...the only memorable thing about this group date was when Ben stole Des mid-chat with Mikey to get more alone time with Des, and Mikey pulled him aside to talk about what had happened. We know this show is all about drama and ratings, and this is setting the stage for more drama in future episodes. It worked in his favor, as Des offered him the rose. Ben is clearly becoming a thorn in the side of many of the guys in the house, and I am looking forward to the fireworks in the future!

Did anyone else think that Brandon is very much like Kasey Kahl from Ali's season? I think he would do anything to "guard and protect' Des' heart, too! Let's see if he ends up sneaking off to a tattoo parlor in a future episode.....;)

The final date of the week is a road trip with Bryden to check out a few sites in California. Again, a lot of cheesey locales, until they hit the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa (now we're talking!) Finally, a hot tub scene sneaks in, and takes the date up a notch. There's only so much you can get out of running through an orange grove and trying to fly a kite on the beach. While I appreciated Bryden opening up to Des about the terrible car accident he was in after college, I'm not sure it was something you need to share on a first date. I was also surprised he pulled out the scary hospital pictures! It was a bit TMI for me...but fortunately for him, Des gave him the rose.

Finally, it's time for the cocktail party, and more drama involving Ben. I thought he was such a great guy in the first episode, but it's obvious that he's not opposed to stepping on a few toes (or people!) to get more time with Des. I guess the old saying rings true on this show..."All's fair in love and war"! Ben is very quickly becoming Public Enemy Number One, and doesn't care that he already has a rose. He wants more face time, even though there are still several bachelors who want more time to convince Des why she should offer them a rose later. You could tell Mikey wanted to throw a case of whoop-ass on Ben, after he interrupted his time with Des. I can't wait to see them battle it out down the road!

Rose ceremony time finally comes, and with three roses already secured, Des makes her choices:

James, Kasey, Dan, Juan Pablo, Brad, Chris, Brian, Zak W., Drew, Mikey, Zach K., Michael, and Brandon. Will, Nick, and Robert were sent home. If you follow Des on Twitter, it turns out Robert used to date Des' roommate, so his days were already numbered!

OK, time for another giveaway! Jacob's Creek (http://www.jacobscreek.ca/home) has very kindly offered a prize pack for me to give to one lucky reader! To win, you need to post a comment below, telling me which bachelor gave the best performance in the Soulja Boy video shoot, AND what song you would perform if you were going to star in your own video shoot! I will announce a winner on Thursday, June 20. Good luck! Make sure to follow Jacob's Creek on Twitter (@JacobsCreekCA), and tweet along with them every Monday night during the Bachelorette, using the hashtag #MoscatoMonday! :)

Thanks so much for sharing your comments and feedback with me! Until next time...xoAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-524931738696456771.post-51512040816638768722013-06-02T21:17:00.000-04:002013-06-02T21:17:14.233-04:00A Cali Cinderella Love Story Begins! Season Premiere of the Bachelorette...:)Hello everyone! I'm baaaaack! It's been a long time coming, but welcome back to the Bachelorette, and my blog. I have missed dishing about the show, and interacting with everyone who has read my posts and given me wonderful feedback. Sorry for the delay in the first post, but better late than never! Let's get this party started!

Let me start by saying that I love the fact that Desiree is this season's Cinderella. She has all of the characteristics needed for a wonderful Bachelorette. She's beautiful, smart, fun, easy-going, and has a fantastic personality. She also has a crazy brother that tips the scales of drama, but we can discuss that in future blog posts. Take away all of the cheesy elements at the beginning of the episode (driving up to the house, her being overwhelmed by all the luxury given to her for the season, the roller skating on the Boardwalk), and you have a nice girl about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. I don't think she had any clue regarding what would take place on the first night at the mansion!

Let's dive right in and dish/hiss about the 25 bachelors who rolled up in limos to meet Des. I won't talk about all the men...just the ones who made me smile, gag, and call the boys in straightjackets to come scoop up the psychos! Here are my most memorable bachelors from the first night:

Brooks - What a cutie! I loved that he was nervous when he met Des. It's nice when a man doesn't try too hard to make a first impression.

Bryden - So sweet and grounded. It's a quality that is really endearing.

Kasey - The social media guy who created hashtags for Des (#perfectbachelorette). My hashtag for him - #getalife #gohomenow #tryonlinedating

Mikey - Spoke to Des about coming from a close knit family. We know this is always something that is attractive to people on these shows.

Jonathan - The "Fantasy Suite" guy. Let me create a hashtag for this guy - #freakonaleash #gohomenow #haveanotherdrink

Zak - The shirtless wonder. The man may have abs of steel, but he also has a target on his back with the other guys. His jump in the pool keeps him on the show for at least another week, thanks to Des giving him a rose.

Larry - I named him "Creepy Larry". Any guy who rips a girl's dress on the first night isn't going to last very long. #byebyelarry

Micah - I love that he took a page from Des from her season of The Bachelor, and designed his own outfit! It won't make it into Men's Vogue, but he gets props for creativity!

Nick - The magician who should have kept the rose he gave to Des for himself, since he didn't get one later. Maybe try asking her what her sign is instead...;)

Diogo - The knight in shiny armour. News flash...that only worked in A Kight's Tale. Next time, wear a suit, and just be yourself.

Ben - By far my favorite entrance of the night! Bringing along his son Brody to give Des a flower as he stepped out of the limo was priceless. Shame Brody didn't get the 'First Impression' rose, and stick around for the cocktail party! I'm sure they could have found a sippy cup for him. :)

As everyone was fighting for time with Des during the cocktail party, I wondered (as I usually do at the start of each season of the Bachelor franchise of shows) where they found some of these crazy people! I know many of them are on the show to up the crazy factor and increase ratings, but I was hoping for more balance for this season. I would have sent most of the guys packing that first night, just like Des kicked Jonathan to the curb when he tried to take her into a suite to be alone . Since the show runs for a few months, and Des needs to keep a large portion of the group, here's how the rose ceremony went down:

Ben, Zak, Bryden, Drew, Michael, and Nick M - already received roses prior to the rose ceremony

Remaining bachelors to receive roses:

Brandon, Zach K., Will, Brooks, Juan Pablo, Brad, Kasey, James, Robert, Brian, Dan, Chris, Mikey

I'm sorry this post was so late, but my week was pretty crazy! I'm excited to announce that I will have several giveaways this season! The first one is for a set of amazing lip balms from KonaKare (http://www.konakare.com/), a fantastic company from Ontario that I LOVE! I use their Chocolate Peppermint lip balm, and my lips feel incredibly soft! The lucky winner of this prize will have pucker-ready lips, just in time to watch Des pucker up in future episodes.

To win this prize, post a comment below telling me who which bachelor you think Des will kiss first, and who made your list of favorites during the premiere! I will announce the winner on Wednesday night (June 5). Good luck! If you're on Twitter, make sure to follow KonaKare (Twitter handle @konakareinc).

Thanks for your support, messages and feedback! I can't wait to see what happens on the first dates! Until next time...xo
Welcome to a new season of The Bachelor. Sorry for the late start in posting these entries. 2012 has been busy for me, but I'm playing catch up now. I don't know about you, but I am already excited for all of the fireworks that have started between the ladies, and look for much more of the same in the weeks to come! Grab your bevvie of choice, and let's get this party started!

I know there have been mixed reviews on having Ben come back for a second chance at love. Why not choose someone more colorful, like Ryan, or mix it up and have William come on the show to charm the ladies? I think Ben is a safe choice and the most stable of the ones who were up for consideration. He may not be the flashiest person or had the biggest personality, but he won't be dumping the woman he chooses right after the cameras stop rolling, and I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt. Also...the man has his own winery. What's not to love about that!?

I don't want to rehash everything that happened during the premiere...most of you watched and already talked to me about what went down. I have to point out a few of the highlights of what went down when the women came to the mansion. From the minute they stepped out of the limo, the claws came out, the stilettos were sky high and the attitudes were on red alert!! Here are the ones that stood out for me:

Amber Bacon - girlfriend, dissing a guy on the first night is not the way to make a good first impression. I would have thrown you back in the limo and sent you back to BC! On what planet is that acceptable? You just stepped into asshat territory.

Brittney - bringing your grandma out of the limo first to butter up Ben was a stroke of genius! Others may have found it cheesey...I think you hit the nail on the head! Family is really important to Ben, and he totally warmed up to both of you. I'm surprised he didn't give her a rose that first night!! ;)

Monica - if you don't end up in the final four, you will definitely have a future on another reality show! Don't be surprised if the directors ask for tons of girl on girl action. Not sure if she got sucked into flirting with the girl on the couch for ratings, but I wondered how she made it through the screening process. LOL.

Courtney - there's always a model on the show, and this season is no different. Was I the only one who thought she fit the typical shallow, "I'm a model...I work all the time, I'm so busy but I'm here for love" lines? The only lines this girl wants is from a script for a major movie. The girl is there to advance her career.

Jenna - biggest crybaby on the show! I have to admit...if it wasn't for her bathroom breakdown, people would have fallen asleep before the end of the episode. I'm sure Ben will keep her around for a few more episodes...and make sure her room is stocked with tons of Kleenex. Are they a sponsor for the show? They should be!! ;)

Blakeley - this cocktail waitress looks like she's not going to make a lot of friends in the house! She has her eye on the prize and doesn't care who she needs to step over for Ben. I found out that she used to date Wes from Jillian's season of The Bacherlorette. Guess this franchise of shows really doesn't have any degrees of separation! Looking forward to more fireworks from her in the weeks to come!

Lindzi - ah, a girl and her horse! I really like her coming in on the horse! Dare to be different...it definitely worked for her!! I hope she sticks around for a while. So glad she got the first impression rose. :)

Emily - if you get the boot early, you may try a career in the rap industry! Add that to your resume...I bet the other epidemiologists can't rap like you!! That rap she had for Ben was hysterical!! She blew Kasey Kahl out of the water (remember him from Ali's season!?)

In case you don't remember who received roses at the first rose ceremony:

Jamie, Rachel, Blakeley, Emily, Kacie B., Casey S., Brittney, Erika, Shawn, Nicki, Jennifer, Elyse, Samantha, Courtney, Jaclyn, and Monica are all safe. Lindzi received the first impression rose.

I was expecting some drama, fireworks and colourful outfits, and wasn't disappointed! If you want to get the scoop on the outfits the bachelorettes wear on the show, check out Possessionista's blog: http://www.possessionista.com/ . Make sure to follow her on twitter, as well (@possessionista). Her one-liners are hilarious!

That's it for now. Thanks for all of your tweets and comments. Let me know what else you would like to hear about! I'm going to be revamping my site soon, and hope to plan a few fun local events during the season. Hope to see you there!!

Until next time...xoxoAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-524931738696456771.post-39514490853834043202011-05-25T20:18:00.000-04:002011-05-25T20:18:14.704-04:00A New Season, A New Bachelorette...And a Masked Bandit!? Welcome Back to Crazyville!!Hello party people! What a season premiere!! I was wondering if I was watching The Bachelorette, the new Batman movie, or a scene out of Animal House! The drama meter was on high alert, a masked bandit was on the prowl, the drinks were flowing a little too much for one tipsy bachelor, and Ashley was on her best behaviour for the first night in the mansion. What happens next is anyone's guess! Grab your libation of choice, and let's dive into some good old fashioned dissin' and hissin'!! ;)

First of all, let's start by saying that I think Ashley being chosen as the next Bachelorette was a surprise for many people, including me. I was hoping to see a few of the other Bachelorettes from last season in the running for this season, but as I started to watch the premiere, I saw a few things to consider. Ashley clearly has regrets about what she did during Brad's season and is very welcoming of a second chance to redeem herself. She is also fortunate enough to have her own season with a new crop of men to choose from. No doubt she'll have her own season of drama to deal with, but this is what ABC is banking on, and I can't say I blame them. As we know, it's all about the ratings and shock value.

Speaking of shock value, let's talk about the guys on the show this season! I'm not going to analyze all 25 men...you can go to the ABC website and check them out on your own. I did notice several men who stood out, and have to provide you with my fiddy cents' worth in breaking them down for you:

Ryan P - The Solar Energy Executive and the one who received the first impression rose at the cocktail party. What a cutie! There's something about him that makes me want to know more about him. Obviously, Ashley felt the same way. Otherwise, that rose would have gone to another stud!

JP - The cutie Construction Manager from NY. One look at him and I already know this guy will be around for a while. Adorable and he seems really nice. We'll see what happens!

Ames - The Portfolio Manager from NYC who has run in 39 marathons! He's the one who was hoping Ashley would be the next Bachelorette. I predict we;ll see a lot more of him, too!

Ben - The winemaker from Sonoma. Smooth move bringing out the big guns and offering her some vino as soon as her got out of the limo! I was surprised she stopped at just one glass, but I'm sure she'll be dipping into the sauce soon enough! He's adorable, and I really wanted to try his wine!!

Bentley - Ah yet, the one Ashley was 'warned' about. He's the single dad from salt Lake City with the daughter named Cozy. I'm sorry, but was I the only one wondering why the hell anyone would name their daughter something like that!? Anyway, I digress. As we saw in the previews for later this season, Bentley looks like he's going to be the ultimate douchebag to Ashley. Let's see just how badly he wants that title. I smell drama and a whole lot of trouble with this one.

Anthony - The butcher from New Jersey. OK....this guy looks like that guy who used to date the porn star Traci Lords (John Enos III). Check him out! http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004897/ . I laughed when I thought of this!! This guy was so weird and awkward around Ashley, I actually felt sorry for him. Rico Suave is better off heading back to Jersey and checking out the ladies of Jerseylicious!!

West - The prosecutor. I liked him from the second he stepped out of the limo. His story is sad, but he obviously knows how to be in a committed relationship, as he was married previously (and had the wife pass away at home). I hope Ashley keeps him around for a while. The broken compass being stuck on West was cheesey, but cute at the same time. Unfortunately, he's dealing with some controversy right now regarding his wife's death. In case you haven't heard, check out the link to an article I found at the People website: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20497138,00.html . Obviously, being on a reality show like The Bachelorette, nothing is sacred, and you need to be prepared to have every hidden skeleton and secret come out in the tabloids and on TV.

William - William is the Cell Phone Salesman from Ohio with the bad track record in the dating department. He's a cutie and there's something about him that I'm sure will make Ashley keep him around for a while.

Tim - The hot mess Liquor Distributor from Kentucky. Is anyone else howling at the irony of his job title!? The guy must have dove into a barrel of hooch and snored it out on the patio! What a disaster. So not surprised she kicked his drunk ass out of the mansion. I don't think she wanted a reminder of how bad she was with the liquor during Brad's season.

Jeff - OK, saved the strangest bachelor for last. Did someone forget to tell me that a caped crusader would be on the show this season?? The guys in the house already call him Batman! The mask is so strange, and I guess for one episode, it's OK to try and see if Ashley would see through the hidden face and offer him a rose based on his personality and out of sheer curiosity. Any bets on how long Mask Boy will keep that thing on? How the hell is she supposed to try and kiss him with that mask on? Maybe we'll find out next week...same Bat time, same Bat channel!

OK, those are some of the men who stood out for me during the premiere. Let me chat for a minute about Ashley's makeover. I have to say, the long, darker hair suits her, and the stylists at ABC did a great job of making her look like a polished and attractive Bachelorette who's looking for love. The dress was beautiful, although I thought after she was picked up several times by some of the men she met, that dress was going to rip in a few places! If you are one of those people who loves to know where the Bachelorette gets her great outfits and bling, check out the Possessionista website. Dana Weiss does a great job at finding out what the labels are, what they cost and where you can find them (if they're still in stock!) http://www.possessionista.com/ . I check this site weekly, and love knowing what all of the designer labels are! It's a pretty cool site.

When Ashley showed up at the mansion prior to everyone arriving to meet her, I was surprised at how candid she was with Chris Harrison during their one-to-one chat. Clearly, the girl knows she messed up royally with all of the complaining and insecurities she aired out with Brad. Her vulnerability came through, and while I was really skeptical of her being chosen for this season, I think she will have an interesting season of her own.

I'm going to skip right to the cocktail party and the time she spends with the men. I love this part of the premiere, as you see how ridiculous things get with the men jonesing for private time with Ashley. If you don't have balls of steel and are willing to steal her away, or lucky enough to have her single you out, these poor saps were going to be SOL.

A few people stood out for me during the party. First, I loved the chemistry between Ashley and Ryan P. They are very cute together and you can tell she's into him already. The girl hasn't perfected her poker face...her interest was pretty obvious with some of the men. Mike was pretty funny with the guitar that he whipped into the pool. A little crazy, but hilarious nevertheless. William and Ashley have a great chemistry, and as I mentioned before, I hope she keeps him around for a while.

Let's dish about Ashley's time with Bentley. It's so obvious that she's attracted to this guy and questioning why she was warned about him. Once she said she was pleasantly surprised by him, I knew she would be sucked into his charms and want to keep him around for a while. The question is...for how long?

OK...let's talk about the HUGE, drunk elephant in the room...Tim! What a ridiculous, eembarrassing disaster. That guy was so wasted, frat boys looked like choir boys compared to his sloppy behaviour and snoring that would break glass. Is it any wonder that Ashley had the guys drag him out of the house and send him home to sober up and realize what a Douche Lord he was on the show!!

Here is the list of men Ashley gave a rose to after the cocktail party:

Ryan (first impression rose)
Jeff
Constantine
Ben F.
Lucas
Steven
Matt
Nick
JP
Ames
Chris D.
Ryan M
Blake
Mickey
Ben C.
West
William
Bentley

Judging by the previews, Ashley's in for a lot of fun and romance with the men and heartache and drama with Bentley!! I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see how this all plays out. I'll see you next week, when we can dish about Ashley's first dates, more drama and anything else that gets thrown into the mix. Thanks for reading the blog and for your continued support. It means a lot to me! If there is anything you want me to cover in my entries, please let me know. I love your emails and comments!

Until next time....XOAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-524931738696456771.post-63994988333345489602011-05-18T20:24:00.000-04:002011-05-18T20:24:22.902-04:00I'm Baaaaack!!! And Guess What? Ashley's Back as the Bachelorette! Here Come the Fireworks!! ;)Hello party people! I have missed you! The last two months seemed to fly by. It seems like it was only yesterday that we saw Brad and Emily get engaged on the season finale of The Bachelor, and now we're about to see Ashley have her chance at love on the next installment of the Bachelorette.

Let's be brutally honest...I know from all the emails and comments people have sent my way that Ashley isn't everyone's first, or even second choice as the Bachelorette. She was at best a crazy train wreck with her boozy behaviour and stalkerazzi scenes with Brad and the other women. However, I have watched enough seasons of these shows to know that Mike Fleiss sees potential in some wild cat fights, drunken brawls and steamy hot tub scenes. For ABC, it's all about the ratings and shock value, and I'm sure Ashley and her harem of beefcake will rise to the occasion in this area. I have read a few of Reality Steve's blog entries, and decided very early not to follow it to the end, so I can be surprised with the end of the season like everyone else.

I will be back next week to dish all about the season premiere with you, and would love to make this blog more interactive and enjoyable for you. I welcome your suggestions and comments for this, but I also have a few fun things planned throughout the season for you. I will have some Skype chats during the season, a live blog/Bachelorette night at a venue TBD, and am working on a contest for later in the season. Stay tuned!!

As always, I want to thank you for being so supportive and receptive to my blog. What started as a fun pastime for myself and my girlfriends has blown up into something that has brought me some great friends and followers from all over the world. It's a labour of love for me, and a guilty pleasure that I am more than happy to write about. I look forward to seeing what happens starting May 23rd!! Take care, try to stay out of trouble and have a fantastic weekend!! See you next week!!
Until next time...XOAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-524931738696456771.post-14538851480624796102011-02-21T18:09:00.000-05:002011-02-21T18:09:17.590-05:00Private islands, Sports Illustrated beauties, and the date from hell: Welcome to Anguilla, baby!!FINALLY! This is the episode I have been waiting for all season. I won't spoil it for you...but let's just say I took great pleasure in watching some this episode for many reasons. After seeing the island of Anguilla, I am definitely adding it to my list of tropical places to visit. I don't envy Brad...he has had some serious emotional basket cases to deal with this season, but at least he is getting down to the wire and weeding out the women he doesn't see a future with. For the most part, is very smart about the decisions he has made. Grab your martini glasses and let's get down to some happy hour dishing and hissing!!

With 6 women left in the house, this week's dates are especially important, as they will determine who will be selected for the hometown dates the following week. Brad and the women travel to Anguilla, and the island is gorgeous and the perfect place for some serious romance! This week, there will be 3 1-1 dates, with no roses handed out, and one group date, with one rose to be given out.

Emily receives the first 1-1 date, and they head to a private island. Brad wants to use this time to let Emily know how he is feeling. He explains that he is still very nervous around her, and fumbles all of his words. She explains that she is afraid of having her heart broken, and Brad responds by telling her how much he cares for her. In fact, he tells her that he cares for her more than he should probably say. I love that they were able to watch the sun set and watch the moon rise, as well. Very romantic setting and who doesn't love a gorgeous sunset with a great looking man!

They continue their date on the beach at night over dinner and talk about whether or not Brad will meet her daughter if she receives a hometown date. Emily admits this is the best part of her date with Brad...having him open up to her about his feelings. She tells him that she has never introduced her daughter to anyone she has dated, and Brad tells her he would love to meet her. Emily is scared, but Brad goes as far as telling her that she will receive a rose at the next ceremony and that "we're going to your hometown."

That blew my mind, as no bachelor has ever admitted to a bachelorette that she would receive a rose. Emily...let the man meet your daughter! Obviously, he cares enough to put himself out there for you...:) The date ends with some sweet kisses, but it's more than just a kiss for Brad, who says he doesn't want to leave their date. Maybe this is because she's the only woman on the show who hasn't freaked him out with psychotic behaviour, crying fits or late night trips to his room. ;)

The second 1-1 date is with Shawntel, who gets to explore the island and hang out with the locals and Brad. The date starts pretty slow and boring, with a bike ride into town, drinking out of coconuts and playing backgammon with the locals. I know that Brad is using this date to see Shawntel's playful side, but compare it to Emily's date, and it puts me to sleep! Over a picnic lunch, though, Shawntel tells Brad she's falling in love with him, which kicks the date up a notch.

Over dinner at night, it's evident that the two of them have a connection. Brad opens up to her about his father, which he never does with anyone. The date turns romantic as they start kissing wile the rain falls on the water. The date turns into a concert with a famous singer from the Caribbean and a huge crowd of people. Interesting end to a date, and much better than backgammon any day!! I hope Brad goes back to Chico with Shawtntel and sees where she works!! ;)

The final 1-1 date is with Britt, who has yet to ave a private date with Brad. The ladies are jealous as Brad takes her away in a private yacht for a day of fun! Now that's what I'm talking about!! Treat a lady with the finer things, P-Diddy style! (lol) Michelle feels that he is wasting the yacht on Britt, and doesn't see them friending each other on Facebook, much less dating. Meow! Want a saucer of milk to go with that catty attitude, Michelle? All I have to say is that I will do some serious dancing when this crazy bird gets kick out of the nest!! :(

Brad is excited to finally have some time with Britt, as he feels they are so far behind the other women regarding the connection he has made with the others. He takes Britt diving off rocks and into the ocean, which terrifies her. She finally faces her fears and jumps, which makes Brad very proud of her.

Unfortunately for Britt, Brad feels no romantic connection with Britt on the date and he has zero desire to kiss her like he does the other women when he is with them. He sees no future with her, and no spark. He thinks really highly of her and wanted to spend a day with her to see if they had any kind of connection to build upon. At dinner, he tells her that there is no romantic spark or connection, and that he must say goodbye to her. Britt is very gracious about it, and leaves in a small boat.

Britt goes back to the resort to pack and had to face the other women and explain what happened on the date. I thought that was the worst part of the night...having to face the others after being rejected by Brad. ABC, you'll do anything for ratings! Tacky and such a low blow on your part...

The final date of the week is a 3-1 with Chantel, Ashley and Michelle. He wakes them up very early and says they only have 10 minutes to get ready. They find out they will be doing a swimsuit photo shoot for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue! Michelle is excited, but Chantel is very nervous, as she feels less glamorous and in shape than the other women.

Ashley gets right into the photo shoot and also takes her bikini top and puts coconuts on her chest, which I gave her mad props for! if you're going to be in the swimsuit issue, milk it for all it's worth! That's a once in a lifetime opportunity for anyone who is not a supermodel. Chantel also rises to the occasion and whips off her top. I think she didn't want to be outdone by Ashley...lol. Michelle takes the ballsy move of the day by posing on top of Brad and making out with him for the camera. Clearly, the other women are painfully uncomfortable, and Brad sees the date going south as a result. He blames himself for that, as Michelle became overly aggressive and out of control by making the others so jealous.

At the pool party, Brad says the day has been absolute hell. He takes Ashley away for some 1-1 time and she wants to be sure his personality meshes with hers. She tells him that watching Michelle all over him made her feel like his kid sister. Ouch...no romance in that response! Brad says his feelings for her have not changed, and feels awful for making her feel that way.

During the 1-1 time with Chantal, she tells Brad she felt shut out from the date, and wants to knowl how he feels about the possibility of meeting her family. She also says she still loves him, but is feeling very disconnected after today's date.

Brad pulls Michelle away for 1-1 time, and says he's scared they are too much alike. She is digging herself into a watery grave very slowly...here's hoping the girl gets the boot soon!!!

In the end, Brad gives the rose to Ashley, who happily accepts. He tells her he cares more for her than he can say and can't wait to meet her family! Needless to say, the other women are very upset and it's a brutal end to a difficult day. As Ashley and Michelle head back to their rooms, Brad talks to a crying Chantel, who tells him that if he can't choose her from a group of three women, he should send her home. Brad tells her not to count herself out of everything yet. The drama is making me gag, and I personally wish she would stop acting like a child!! :(

At the cocktail party, Chantel admits that it was hard to see Ashley receive the rose, and Shawntel says she is really nervous about what will happen tonight. Brad and Chris deliberate, and Brad requests that they skip the cocktail party, as he already knows who he wants to send home and doesn't need extra time to change his mind. The girls are shocked when Chris advises them of the party being skipped and going straight to the rose ceremony.

With Britt already sent home and Ashley being the only woman with a rose, the remaining roses go to:

Emily, Shawntel and Chantel. Michelle is sent packing...whoohoo!! I could NOT be happier. Ding dong, the witch is going home. Took way too long, but at least she is gone. Michelle is very upset about being sent packing, but Brad thinks she is too volatile for him, and that their intense connection would eventually fade away. She refuses to talk to him as he walks her to the limo. In my opinion...good riddance!

That's all for this installment! I am so excited for the hometown dates, as I am sure you are, as well. no doubt we will have tons to dish about next time. As always, thanks for all of your feedback and comments. I am beyond happy that so many people read and follow my blog, and am very excited to say that I officially had over 1000 visits to the blog since it began. Thanks so much for this. It's due to your interest and support that I wrote this blog, and am loving that you take the time to read and comment to me about it!

Until next time...XO

PS...I have to give a huge shout out to two very lovely ladies, Shannon Hunter and Ally Lesniak. They put on a fabulous event on February 10th in Toronto called Love a Heart, which was a bachelor/bachelorette auction. Through this event, they raised $9,000.00 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation!! Congratulations Shannon and Ally. You are amazing, I'm very proud of you, and happy to have met you and call you my friends. Stay tuned for a special blog post about this event later this week!! XOAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-524931738696456771.post-27048788347467486232011-02-21T16:27:00.000-05:002011-02-21T16:27:58.524-05:00Zip lines, bugging out and meetings at the altar: love, Costa Rican style!!Hello everyone! Wow, I don't know about you, but I wanted to strap Michelle onto that zip line cable and whip her back to the USA! What a head case she is! I hope Brad is watching these episodes and wondering why the meds didn't wear off sooner, so that the tribe could have spoken sooner to vote Michelle into crazyville! LOL. Hope you all enjoyed this episode of The Bachelor. It had everything that your typical reality show should posess...the token rain scene on the date, the girl looking hot in the white men's shirt, Risky Business style, the girl deathly afraid of bugs, and the token babes in bikinis! All that's missing is your drink. What are you waiting for!? Go get it and let the dissing and hissing begin!! ;)

The next chapter of Brad's journey for love takes him and the ladies to Costa Rica. After the girls settled into a pimped out suite, they find out that the first 1-1 date is with Chantal. Naturally, our resident bachelorettezilla, Michelle, loses it again and shows her true colours by saying "I hope Chantal gets attacked by monkeys or apes." Hmm...and you're someone's mother!? The woman needs a dose of reality...or Prozac....and a good therapist. I feel sorry for her daughter.

Brad and Chantel go ziplining on their 1-1 date, and it starts pouring rain while they are outside. Why is it that every time these two have a date, it's monsoon season!? LOL. I guess what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...and a little rain never hurt anyone. The two of them enjoy a romantic picnic in the evening, and Brad gives Chantel one of his white shirts to wear. I'm sure Brad would have loved to watched Chantel in her wet clothes instead, but then she would have ended up in an emergency room with some crazy illness from beong wet and cold. Chantel works the shirt and nothing else to her advantage, and Brad ends up giving her a rose and sharing what he calls the perfect evening with her. Chantel says this is the night she fell in love with Brad.

I like Chantel, but the constant whining and crying is starting to get to me. She's independent, feisty, and keeps Brad on his toes, which are all great things. What gets to me is that she constantly challenges him to send her home if he thinks he doesn't see her at the end of the journey. Sweetheart...last time I checked, this was a show where 30 women compete for the affection and love of ONE man. He obviously can't tell you that he loves you and send the others home early! I'm getting tired of the crying scenes every week. Hopefully, she'll throw out the kleenex soon and be confident in the fact that she's still there because he likes her and wants to get to know her better.

The second date of the week is a group date, and naturally, Michelle is stuck on it and complains about how much she hates the group dates. She also wonders a) why Chantel came home in Brad's shirt! , and b) why Chantel is still there, since Brad is her man. Ummm..did I miss the memo on this? Did something happen while I away from the TV, and Brad decided to save himself for only Michelle? This girl needs to buy a clue, or get voted off the island...pronto! :(

For the group date, Brad decides to have a day where it's all about adventure and facing fears. What better way to do this than by rapelling down a waterfall? All the cool kids are doing it!! Unfortunately, Jackie is deathly afraid of heights, and has trouble with getting excited about the challenge of rapelling. Michelle, on the other hand, doesn't want to do it, as she made a pact with Brad on their 1-1 date that they wouldn't do this with anyone else, so she gets whiny for the millionth time.

Shawntel volunteers to go first, which earns bonus points with Brad. He's an adventurous person, and wants to see who in the group would be compatible with him in this area. Jackie, however, is another story. The girl is completely freaked out about rapelling down the waterfall, but finally does it with some encouragement from Brad. This puts Michelle over the edge, as she thinks Jackie is a drama queen. umm...hello extra large pot calling the kettle black!!! This girl is more drama than every soap opera, telenovela and reality show across the globe! I need to be sedated to watch all of Michelle's scenes...or at the very least, a healthy top-up of my vino of choice to get through her bitching! Much to my disgust, Brad rapelled down the waterfall with Michelle, and managed to hurt the rest of the girls' feelings in the process. Can you see this date going downhill fast??

Brad takes the girls to a hot springs area for their evening date, but the mood is spoiled by the rose looming in the distance. Brad takes Emily away for 1-1 time, and she tells him that she likes him, but it's scary, as she tends to run away from guys she really likes. Emily, sweetheart, I really like you and I think you're by far the best woman on the show...but never tell a man you are on a show for that you run AWAY from men you like. That's called a 'no-no'. Naturally, this worries Brad, and he encourages her by saying he wants her to stay and not sabotaging what's going on with them. I wondered why he didn't just give her a dozen roses at this point. He's practically saying 'you're safe...play your cards right, and I'll see you at the end!'

I have to mention quickly what happened back at the villa during the group date. Alli and Chantel were there, and a HUGE beetle ended up inside. Alli is deathly afraid of bugs, and Chantel decided to have fun with this by taking the beetle and scaring her with it. It was a little bit funny, but as someone who isn't a fan of creepy little buggers, if I was Alli, I would have found a way for the beetle and Chantel to become bed time buddies...LOL!!

Back at the hot springs, Michelle is still jealous about Chantel wearing Brad's shirt, and called him out on that during her 1-1 time. Brad, of course, didn't want to talk about Chantel, but Michelle doesn't know how to let go of anything, even a white shirt. If I was Brad, I woould have sent her home at that point, instead of letting his physical attraction dictate the fact that she stayed...but that's just me. In the end, Brad was not confident on who should receive a rose, and decided not to hand one out. This is what happens when you don't play nice as adults, ladies. Instead of a time out in the naughty corner, you go home roseless! Lesson learned...hopefully.

The final date of the week is a 1-1 with Alli and Brad. The date card says 'Meet me at the altar', which freaks everyone out. Brad and Alli take off on horses, and head to a cave that is over 40 million years old. Poor Alli is also afraid of what will be inside the cave, which is filled with bugs and bats. This date isn't getting off to a promising start! Eventually, they end up at an underground waterfall, with a natural stairway leading them to 'the altar', and a private picnic. Brad is using this date to find if he can see himself with Alli at the altar at the end of his journey.

Later in the evening, the two enjoy a poolside dinner back at the resort, but it's pretty clear that Brad doesn't feel a romantic connection with Alli. There is none of the spark he feels with Chantel, the animal magnetism he has with Michelle, or the romantic connection he has with Emily. Ironically, Alli tells Brad her last relationship ended because she didn't see herself with him on their wedding day. Here is Brad's chance to back out of the date gracefully!! Brad tells Alli there is no connection between them, that he likes her as a friend, and sees himself hanging out with her, but that's all. She cries, but thanks him for his honesty. (I always hate when the girls cry!!) She is sent home, and the girls see someone come pick up Alli's luggage, so they know what has happened.

Brad takes off to his room for some downtime after a tough week, but Michelle sneaks off to join him. She tells im how much she misses him, how sending Alli home was a good idea, and lists the order that he should send the remaining women home. I have to say she has balls of steel, but I can't wait for the day she is sent packing, as well!! :(

At the cocktail party the next night, it's obvious that Brad has had a tough week, and gets called out by the women for not handing out a rose on the group date. He tells Emily that thinks of her a lot, but is scared of her. I would be too, if I kept comparing myself to a ghost of a fiance! I adore Emily, but they have to stop playing up the Ricky card. The man is gone, he's not coming back, and she needs to move on and be happy again!! She also apologizes to Brad for what she said about running away from relationships and clears the air with him.

Brad has 1-1 time with Michelle, and tells her that she is scaring him badly. He feels that they have taken 10 steps back and she freaks out. No kidding...tone it down, sista! You're not the only game on the island. When is the damn tribe going to speak out on her!?

The women call Michelle out for possibly saying something in private to Brad, and find out that she snuck off to his room and addressed the rose issue. Chantel is disgusted and no longer wants to talk to Michelle. I personally think this girl is digging her own grave...it's just a matter of time!!

Chantel uses her 1-1 time to tell Brad she is in love with him and doesn't expect anything in return...not words or a rose. She just wants to lay it out for him and say how she feels. Naturally, he is happy and says she made his night, turning his day around.

Finally, we arrive at the rose ceremony. The only girl with a rose is Chantel. The remaining roses go to:

Ashley, Emily, Britt, Shawntel and Michelle. Jackie is the second woman to be sent home that week.

That's it for this episode. Hope you tune in for the next installment of the Bachelor blog! Thanks for the comments and emails...they make me smile so much! Have a great week!!

Until next time...XOAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-524931738696456771.post-21409622560204440172011-02-08T20:29:00.000-05:002011-02-08T20:29:33.822-05:00Shopping Sprees, Racecar Beauties and Cirque de Heartbreak...It's All About Vegas, Baby!!Hello party people! What an episode. My head was spinning with all of the crazy turn of events that took place in Sin City! I went from being insanely jealous of Shawntel's Pretty Woman shopping experience at the mall, to feeling uncomfortable watching Emily struggle with the date at Las Vegas Speedway, and disappointed for Ashley S. and her sad exit from the quest for Brad's heart. Personally, I think the wrong Ashley was sent home, but I'm not the one who is searching for a potential wife or partner on a reality show. In any event, there's lots to dish about. It's happy hour...grab your drinks and let the hissing begin!!

At the mansion, the girls are told by Chris Harrison that they are leaving the house and leaving on a journey to find love elsewhere. They have an hour to pack and get ready to leave for Las Vegas! Nice place to start a world tour for love, in my opinion . For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of heading to Sin City, Las Vegas is a party paradise. Tons of beautiful hotels, casinos, nightlife, shopping and attractions. The girls met up with Brad at the new Aria resort at City Center and were told that everyone would have a date this week. There would be a 1-1 date, a group date, and the dreaded 2-1 date. The first date was a 1-1 date, which went to Shawntel.

I don't know of ANY woman in the free world who wouldn't be jealous of Shawntel's 1-1 date with Brad. Crystals at the City Center is filled with some of the most luxurious brands of retailers, and Shawntel was able to pick anything she wanted on her private shopping spree! I don't know about you, but I drooled over her black Fendi dress and killer black stilettos. Having a sexy man to model everything for is definitely icing on a very decadent cake!

I thought it was classy of Brad to do such a nice thing for Shawntel. She is a girl from a small town and very sweet and unassuming. The fact that she was overwhelmed and grateful for everything he gave her shows the type of person she is, and that's she isn't completely wrapped up in materialistic things. She is a lucky girl, and she knows it. Nice to see.

I felt bad for Shawntel when she had to go back to the luxury suite and tell the girls about her extravagant shopping date. Michelle had yet another Exorcist moment when her head spun around with jealousy over another woman being pampered and capturing Brad's attention. I am sure that I would have been a little green with envy if I had to watch another women pull out a $5,000 purse that her date picked up for her. The deal sealer was when Shawntel came down the staircase in that ridiculously hot black Fendi dress and killer stilettos. Dressed to kill, and a hot guy on her arm for the night. Not too shabby for a funeral director! ;)

Which brings me to the next topic for discussion between Brad and Shawntel. Over dinner on the roof at Aria, Brad asked Shawntel about her job, and she went into great detail about her career as a funeral director and embalmer. Brad was ridiculously uncomfortable, not being able to eat dinner as she described a 'vein drain' to him (draw a picture, figure out what she meant!!). Between that and describing her cross-eyed cat, Peaches, I wondered if this conversation was going to take a romantic turn to get back on track!!

Fortunately, Brad thinks he is very lucky to be around Shawntel and spend time with her, and offers her a rose to stay, which she accepts. He thinks they have a basis for a very real and true relationship to develop. They end the date with a private fireworks show on the roof, which the other bachelorettes see, as well, and know that it's for Brad and Shawntel.

The next date is a group date. The girls are taken by limo to Las Vegas Motor Speedway to race cars around the track. Brad shows up in full racing gear, and the girls are excited to hit the track. Naturally, everyone is worried about Emily, and Brad has yet to find out her history with NASCAR. The ladies get dressed in racing gear and take turns racing around the track, and Brad notices how quiet Emily is. I bet he'll feel like an idiot once he finds out why she has been so quiet! I still can't believe the show made her go through with this date, but as well all know, all is fair in love, drama and high ratings!

Brad finds out from Emily that her late fiance was a NASCAR driver, and that he crashed at that same track, ending his racing career. Naturally, Brad feels horrible and tells her that if she's not comfortable being there, they will all leave immediately. He admires her tenacity and cares a great deal for her. Not only does she want to stay, she gets in the car and drives several laps around the track. The first laps are for Ricky, and the last one is for her. She does this as a sign that she is ready to move on and fall in love again. In case you all forgot...I adore this girl. She is pure class and I have tons of respect for her. She's not going anywhere this week after this!! :)

Later in the evening, Brad and the ladies have an after party and are hanging out in the pool. Alli's crying for attention from Brad, and Brad's still worrying about Emily. Emily is proud of herself for going through with the laps around the track, but Brad is concerned about the space needed to fill Emily's heart after Ricky passed away. Because of this, she's worried he's pulling away from her.

In the middle of all of this, I love when Chantal lets the word 'love' slip out while she's talking to Brad. Sweetheart...it's WAY too early to play the 'L' card! The man is still dating a harem of women! He won't reciprocate for a while...keep the cards close to you for now!

It wouldn't be a group date without Michelle stealing Brad for some private time. She tells Brad that the other girls are immature and that she has a crush on him. He tells her he feels the same way, and thinks they have a true connection. Enter a little gag time here...lol! I wish he was seeing what we get stuck watching every week. He would have shipped her home weeks ago!

In the end, the rose goes to Emily. He tells her he doesn't care about her past - he is basing his decision on what's happening now, and that he's falling for her, which makes her happy. I know this is sappy...but I don't care! I love that she got the rose and he took the time to make sure she was comfortable on the date. It's more than ABC did after making her go to the racetrack!

The last date is the 2-1 date with the two Ashleys. This is going to be a tough date, as the two Ashleys have become best friends in the house. However, with a man involved in the picture, all's fair in love and dating!! While Brad is excited for the date, he also has serious doubts about both of them, as well. Brad takes the Ashleys to a Cirque du Soleil show, to test the chemistry between himself and the girls, and to figure out who will star in the show with him later in the evening.

The girls rehearse with Brad for the show, and Ashley S. feels very vulnerable and holds back. As a result, Brad decides at dinner to send Ashley S. home and give Ashley H. a rose. He tells her that he doesn't see a future with her and he had to follow his heart. He sends Ashley S. home, and says that Ashley H. helped him solidify why he's on this journey again for love. They perform together in the evening show for Cirque du Soleil. Cue the mushy and sappy end to the night...:)

I felt so bad for Ashley S. when she was crying as the limo took her back to the airport, but I understand Brad's point of view. He's there to find love and possibly a future wife, and needs to weed out the women who he doesn't see a future with. He says he has an intense connection with Ashley H., and she obviously cares for him too. I personally would have sent the little freak on a leash crybaby home, but it's not my show or my season to find love! We'll see what happens down the road.

At the cocktail party the next night, Brad has to deal with a room full of emotional women. They're all dealing with the extra attention he gave to Emily on her date, and are concerned. Brad talks to Chantal about how she cried on their last date, and he's concerned about having drama in his life if he was to be with her. He explains why he comforted Emily at the racetrack, and what she told him about her history with NASCAR. He also tells her how he likes being around her, but she needs to stop giving him crap so often. Chantal tells him that every woman on the date with Emily felt exactly the same way she does now.

I really like Chantal, but she is extremely emotional and cries on a dime. For a very attractive, confident woman, she can be really overdramatic. I would see that as a red flag if I were Brad. Drama mamas are never a good thing!!

Did anyone else think it was cute that Marissa wrote Brad a note and gave it to him to read during their 1-1 time? I thought it was sweet...and she was vulnerable giving it to him, which shows she likes him. Cute...but a bit like high school, where you send notes asking if a person likes you...

The Fatal Attraction moment of the week goes to...wait for it...no really, wait for it!!...Michelle...again. Did anyone else think she was a raving lunatic when she told Brad not to talk, then straddles him and says he needs someone who appreciates everything about him. She then proceeds to say how much she dislikes the other girls, kisses him, then tells him to go out and go send some girls home. THEN, on top of that, she says "Next time we're together, you can talk." Ummm...can you say delusional!? WOW! Get a muzzle, and a padded wagon...the girl needs to be committed! If someone ever spoke to me that way, there would be a raging smackdown! I guess that ABC didn't approve of the smackdown...maybe it ended up on the cutting room floor. Brad...get a clue...and send the single white space cadet home...please. Then you can talk again...;)

Finally, we get to the rose ceremony. I feel like this episode was a week long! Shawntel, Emily and Ashley H. already have roses. The remaining roses go to:

Michelle, Alli, Britt, Jackie, and Chantal O.

Marissa, Lisa and Ashley S (who was sent home on the 2-1 date) do not receive roses. What you don't see on the show is when Marissa left, Brad slipped her a note as well, thanking her, and how he believed that she would find someone special. I read about this on Chris Harrison's blog, and thought that was very sweet! Another thing I read about is on this episode, 5 of the women went off to get tattoos!! Ashley H, Ashley S, Marissa, Lisa, and Alli decided to go out and get tattoos. The two Ashleys got matching roses right above their ankles. Ashley S got hers in blue to honor her father (Kentucky bluegrass). Lisa got a rose tattoo below her ankle. Marissa got a white rose on her wrist. Alli chickened out — or wised up, depending on how you look at it — and didn’t get one. Yes, this sounds like Kasey and when he snuck off to get a tattoo on Ali's season of The Bachelorette, but clearly, this is about bonding and girl power. To each their own!

That's it for this week's most dramatic episode ever!. Thanks for your feedback, emails, comments and giggles. I love to hear from you., so please feel free to drop me a line anytime! I apologize for posting this so late, but sometimes life has a way of sneaking up on me and making me insanely busy! I will try not to be this late again...ever!!
Until next time...XOAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-524931738696456771.post-38082212386826884032011-01-25T22:46:00.000-05:002011-01-25T22:46:23.552-05:00Black Eyes, Crybabies and Lovelines...Just another day in Bachelorville!Hello lovelies! What a crazy night of Bachelor drama in Casa Cuckoo last night!! From mysterious black eyes to stalkerazzis and crybabies, poor Brad is smart to have a therapist on site! My head was spinning between Michelle's mysterious war wound, Chantal O. and Ashley H's crying fits and the long drop down that skyscraper! Repelling is not my idea of a hot date...I have a crazy fear of heights. However, Michelle is right about ONE thing...you definitely need to take a leap of faith when it comes to love, so who am I to say whether or not I would have strapped on that harness and scaled down the building like Spiderman!? I have done crazy things in my life, as well. OK, get your drinks of choice and let's get this party started!

What were you all thinking when Michelle showed up with a black eye!? Many people have told me that they would have loved to have been the one to slug her....LOL! I personally wouldn't put it past her to give herself a shiner...the girl is certifiable and is inching closer to the psycho from Single White Female (think of Jennifer Jason Leigh's character!). Her excuse about it being a stress wound is laughable. The only stress I would see is for whoever had to share a room with Lulu Looney. Wrap yourself in bubble wrap before bunking down for the night! What's that song from the 80's..."The Freaks Go Out at Night"...yeah, 'nuff said. Michelle is my definition of a freak!

The first 1-1 date goes to Chantal, who gets a date card with "How deep is your love" written on it. Naturally, Michelle is pissy that she doesn't get the date with Brad, and when he comes to the house, she lets him know that she woke up with a black eye. I would love to know what he really thought of that little disaster. Hopefully, someone will ask him on "The Women Tell All" episode!! Chantal and Brad leave by helicopter for Catalina Island, where they walk on the ocean floor. Chantal is very scared of deep water, but decides to go in because Brad's worth it.

Back at the house, the second date card comes and it's a group date. Michelle mentions that is she doesn't get the other 1-1 date, Brad may get a black eye. I think Brad needs to invest in a good mouth guard, boxing gloves, and have a quick practice sparring session with Mike Tyson. He'll need to protect himself from Michelle's right hook!! Michelle doesn't like being compared to Chantal. She thinks Chantal should go home, and it loud and very focused on Brad. Ummm...last time I checked, Michelle was loud, annoying, and obsessed with Brad! I would take Chantal with Brad any day over the resident stalkerazzi! I am still wondering how she made it past the screening process for the show. There must be a clause stating at least one girl for each season has to be borderline psychotic. My guess. I wonder how far off I am about that. ;)

Back on the island, Brad and Chantal get a lot closer and discuss Chantal's first marriage. We find out that Chantal was married for 4.5 years, and with her ex for 10 years. She wants to get married again and start a family, and she learns that Brad wants the same things. Chantal apologizes for slapping Brad the first time they met. Brad likes her playfulness and feels like they have known each other for years. He offers her a rose, and she accepts. Cue the rain and you have the two of them moving their make out session indoors for the rest of the night.

The next day, the ladies on the group date are taken to meet Brad for a live radio show with Psycho Mike and Dr. Drew, called Loveline. The show is about relationships and dating, and I guess since Brad has been in therapy and meets with a therapist on the show, it's fitting that the ladies have a chance to talk about how they are feeling through their journey on the show. It was interesting to see how everyone opened up about their emotions and relating to Brad. I was surprised that anyone came forward to admit that they had cheated in a relationship. Stacey was the only one to admit that she cheated in the past. Let's be honest...I'm sure several of the ladies were guilty of something in past relationships...but to open up in front of everyone about doing this is like putting fuel on a forest fire! I don't think Stacey will last very long in the running for Brad's heart.

Brad did a great job of making the ladies feel comfortable enough to open up in front of Mike and Dr. Drew, and encourages the ladies to take the time to open up to him, and learn from his past mistakes. A lot of raw emotions were played out on this part of the date, and the vulnerability and honesty comes through regarding how nervous the ladies are to tell Brad how they feel about him. Britt took the time to open up and tell Brad she had a crush on him, and he sees the extent of her vulnerability. I think that the women who take the time to express their emotions and thoughts will be the one to last the longest in the house.

Later in the evening, Brad and the ladies go back to the house and enjoy time in the hot tub. The ladies are talking about how nice it was that Brad really opened up to them during the radio show. We also see Ashley H. start her downward spiral into Crazy Town! She starts to freak out about getting alone time with Brad, and cuts in on his time with the other ladies to whine and make sure he's still into her. She interrupted a moment Brad had with Britt that ended in a steamy kiss that she called him out on. Umm..sweetheart...if you start to act whiny and needy, he won't be that into you! Have you not read the book and watched the movie!? In any event, young Ms. Ashley is on a downward spiral that pisses off the ladies and makes her a target for what not to act like in the bachelorette house. The crying fits are annoying too. I'm shocked she isn't the spokeperson for Kleenex by now!! Give her an endorsement, already :(

Back at the mansion, the last date card arrives and it's a 1-1 date with Michelle and Brad. The card reads 'Let's Hang Out Together". I LOVED when Chantal O. pointed out that this was the only card that didn't have a reference to love in it. As you can imagine, this sets our resident cuckoo bird into a tailspin and she over analyzes the card. Darling Chantal...you scored serious brownie points with me!! ;)

Brad comes to the hot tub and is clearly about to give the rose to Ashley, but changes his mind after she clams up about what's bothering her. He takes Britt aside and offers her the rose instead. Little Ashley...you just signed your eventual ticket out of the house. If you don't grow up, you're done....finished. Adios, sista! Who blows a rose opportunity!?

The next day, Michelle is ready for her 1-1 date, but Brad pulls Ashley H. aside to talk to her first about what happened the night before. He's concerned that Ashley's actions will cause what connection they have to be lost and he doesn't want that to happen. He tells her to share how she is feeling, and not to hold back in the future.

In the meantime, Michelle is pissed by having to wait for Brad to finish his conversation with Ashley and complains about it. I loved that Chantal called her out for what she did on the group date while filming the PSAs, telling her she created a scene in front of everyone. She walked off the set, causing Brad to leave the women and deal with her childish behaviour. Michelle tries to defend herself, but Chantal squashes that. God, I love Chantal for being ballsy and standing up to that brat! We should start a pool to see how long Michelle and her crappy attitude will last in the house. Let me know if there are any takers on this!! ;)

Once Brad and Michelle leave the house, she complains to him that everyone was talking about what happened to Ashley H. the night before. He takes her to his house, and they are picked up be helicopter and taken to a skyscraper downtown L.A. The date involves repelling down the side of a building to a pool at the bottom, where they will have the other part of their date. Michelle freaks out, as she is terrified of heights, but straps on the harness and gets ready to repel down with Brad. Brad also admits that he is terrified to do this, but they end up finishing the task and getting closer as a result.

Brad tells Michelle that he's very proud of her for doing this with him, and that this was an overwhelming bonding experience for them. They dive into the pool, drink champagne and make out...typical things to do after scaling a skyscraper in L.A.!! ;)

Later in the evening, Brad asks Michelle if other men have been around her daughter since her divorce, and she mentions that a few have met her. Brad says he would like to meet her, as well. Michelle tells Brad that she doesn't see him with anyone but her. Of course she says that...she's perfect!! Brad gives her the rose and she accepts.

The next night is the cocktail party, and Brad is making an effort to pull aside the women who didn't have a chance to go on a date with him, to reassure them they are important and he's happy they are still there. Brad makes a special effort with Emily, taking her aside and recreating the scene in the barn with her by bringing a blanket, pillows and wine, to re-establish the connection with her. As a woman, I can see why the ladies were pissed off about this. He doesn't go above and beyond for anyone else in the 1-1 time, but no one dared to interrupt. It's obvious that Brad has a serious connection with Emily.

While I personally love this, as she is my favourite on the show, it's still a show with many other women involved and it's highly unfair to make others watch this go down. Chantal goes into another tailspin after this happens, and has a crying fit. She goes to find Brad and tells him how concerned she is about his connections with women in the house who are emotionally unstable. She also says she's got strong feelings for him, but needs to be reassured by him. In return, he tells her that he loves how she is independent, not needy, and keeps him on his toes. Take THAT, Ashley H!

Finally, we get to the rose ceremony. Chantal, Britt and Michelle already have roses. The remaining roses go to: Ashley S, Alli, Emily, Shawntel N, Lisa, Jackie, Marrissa and...wait for it...Ashley H! Brad sends Meghan, Stacey (the cheater) and Lindsay home.

I think Brad made a mistake in keeping Ashley H. The girl is needy, whiny and unpredictable. While I think Michelle is a psychotic mess, I like the drama factor and am curious to see if she spars with Chantal in the future! No doubt she'll dig her own hole and fall into it and off the show, but it's entertaining to see what ridiculous escapades she gets involved in. As we saw from the previews, the next round of dates take place in Las Vegas! I can't wait to see what drama unfolds next week!

Well, that's it from me. Thanks for all of your comments and feedback, as well as your entertaining messages during the show. I read everything and respond to your hilarious comments, and will always continue to encourage you to contact me. I love writing the blog, and it's refreshing to know there are so many others who enjoy the show, and read my entries on a regular basis. To be honest, this is why I keep writing on a weekly basis. Thanks for the support and I will meet you back here next week!
Maybe that's the understatement of the night...the girl is CUCKOO! What's up with the Fatal Attraction creeping and being jealous of a little competition? Last time I checked, there was a house full of women fighting over Brad! Michelle, get a clue. Now that you're 30 (in case you forgot...Michelle celebrated a birthday. Yup, she's still a dirty thirty!), maybe it's time to act your age and be a big girl. There was enough drama, tears and fight scenes to make even the biggest soap opera fan proud of last night's episode. Grab your combat gear and let's get this party started!

The first date of the night was given to Ashley S. I loved when she said "What am I gonna wayer!?" Love her southern accent....but personally, I think it's hysterical when people think Canadians have an accent. No one can beat our "Ooot and aboot!" Haha, sorry, digressing for a second. Brad took Ashley to Capitol Records so they could record a song together. I know that a lot of people have mixed feelings about last night's 1-1 date with Ashley S. and Brad. Singing Seal's "Kiss From A Rose" in a recording booth may not be everyone's idea of a romantic date, but he selected that especially for her, based on her love for Batman movies and that she used to sing this song with her father, who passed away two years ago. Anyone who has lost a loved one knows that those memories trigger tons of emotions, and this date was no different for Ashley.

I am the first to admit that the recording they made was baaadd!! Sorry Brad...you're easy on the eyes, but dogs were baying at the moon while you both sang! Maybe it would have helped if he was dressed up as Batman, and Ashley rocked out in a Batgirl costume. I have to give them both credit for facing their fears and doing something like that together. It's moments like these that bring people together, let their guard down and create special experiences together. I also have to admit that I am really liking the fact that Brad is making the effort this season to create a very comfortable environment for the girls to relax and be themselves with him. This in turn has also allowed him to be natural and open up to them, as well. Nice to see!

Once that awkward moment was over, Brad surprised Ashley with a private performance by Seal. I am a huge Seal fan, and the man can sing! It was sweet to watch Ashley get emotional while he sang. I like her, and it's obvious that Brad does too. She'll probably stick around for a while. The date continued later with dinner on the roof, and a little dancing, a little kissing, and Ashley gets a rose from Brad. I'm not sold yet on Ashley being a potential soul mate for Brad, but you can see that they have a natural chemistry, and Brad thinks she's very sweet and charismatic. We'll have to wait and see how this plays out for them.

The second date was a group date with Brad to film an action adventure movie. It comes as no surprise that Michelle is whining yet again about how she has to share Brad with the rest of the women on the group date. I don't know what world she lives in...but in the real world, after seeing someone twice, and being on a reality show where 30 women are competing for the affections of one man, you don't get the man all to yourself! Does Michelle live in a creeper bubble? I'm starting to wonder.

The ladies watch as Brad is attacked by several actors on the movie set, then find out that they will each be filming their own scenes. The person who does the best job will film a scene at the end with Brad. We see the gloves come off, and kick come into high gear as everyone shoots their scenes. It's a shame Keltie had to miss this date. No doubt her kicks would have been the best! I loved watching Chantal O. channel her inner Angelina Jolie during her fight scene. Chantal seems like a very cool woman with a tough persona, but she needs more 1-1 time with Brad, so we can see what other qualities she has. Michelle definitely stepped up her game, in order to get the last scene with Brad. In the end, Shawntel impressed Brad the most, and she was given the last scene with him. The fact that she got to film multiple takes of kissing Brad was way too much for Michelle. I thought her head was going to spin around, Linda Blair style from The Exorcist! LOL!

Did any of you get grossed out listening to Michelle talk about giving Brad sensual, sexy, slippery kisses!? That girl is one straight jacket away from the psych ward! I get that she is into Brad...but it's become an obsession of ridiculous proportions and I don't see the attraction to her. I guess every season has to have the token crazy girl.

The date continues into the evening with a rooftop after party. Brad and Chantal finally get some alone time, where she breaks down and says she doesn't feel very special to him in a sea of other women, She also tells him about her past with her biological father, who she hadn't talked to in 15 years. When she finally reached out to him, she found out he passed away months before. She finally has a connection with Brad, and (shocker!), they have a make out session. I wonder if Brad carries around a few tubes of lip balm for each of the dates? I'll check into that!

Back at the house, Emily tells the girls about her past and that her fiance died in a plane crash. Emily knows she has to tell Brad about what happened, and that she has a daughter, but she's worried about how he will react. She also questions if she can keep her nerves in check. The girls are very emotional upon hearing Emily's story and cry along with her, and Madison starts to question the reasons why she is part of this whole experience.

Back at the party, the girls are fighting for time with Brad. Michelle continues her rant about how she has to wait to have some private time with Brad, and decides to creep in and interrupt Brad's alone time with Alli. She lurks in the corner, Glenn Close style, then swoops in for the kill! (think Fatal Attraction!! This girl just needs a crazy blonde wig and a HUGE knife!!) I personally find her very rude and annoying, with an agenda of her own. I understand that you need to be a little assertive in a situation like this...but she's just being a royal pain in the butt to everyone else, and comes off as a stalker. End of story. She plays the "I feel selfish leaving my daughter behind" card, to gain sympathy from Brad. Crazy part is, he falls for it and kisses her. Maybe he likes psychos. Guess time will tell.

The only great thing out of the night is that Brad ends up giving the rose to Shawntel, who happily accepts. I thought Michelle's head was going to spin off her head, and that she was going to spit venom! She thinks she's way above the women in the house, and that in the end she'll end up with Brad, making babies in Tahiti. Ummm...Michelle...maybe the Easter Bunny, Great Pumpkin and Holiday Armadillo will come to your wedding, and be in the bridal party too! The girl's a Fruit Loop short of a box of cereal! Get a clue, sweetheart!

The last date is with Emily. Brad plans a very romantic day for them, and he's been attracted to her since they met. He hopes that she will open up to him, as she has been very private until now. I had to laugh when Emily was referred to as an "itsy bitsy Barbie doll with a soul of Mother Theresa." Obviously, you can't hate Mother Theresa, so it's clear that the girls really like Emily. Brad takes Emily to a private jet that will fly them to their destination. Problem is, she's afraid to fly and Brad doesn't know her fiance died in a plane crash. Emily took one for the team, to spare Brad's feelings because he was excited about the plane ride and tried to stay calm.

Once they get to the winery, Brad tries to get Emily to open up about her personal life, but she keeps deflecting the personal questions. I can't say that I blamed her, as she doesn't know how he will react to her story. Brad asks her about her best date and she says being with her best friend. She tells him that she has only been in one serious relationship, but that she has dated from time to time. Brad is really confused as to why she won't open up to him, as he really wants a romantic connection with Emily. he's concerned that if he can't get her to break down her walls, they won't be able to get close.

Brad surprises Emily with a romantic dinner, and she finally mentions the 'elephant' in the room. She talks about how she has only loved one man and that he was the love of her life. They were engaged when she was a teenager. He was a race car driver, and she travelled with him everywhere. The one Sunday she didn't go with him, he died in a plane crash. Five days later, she found out she was pregnant, and now she has a 5 year old daughter. Emily apologized to Brad for not telling him sooner, but she said she wanted him to get to know her without hearing everything else that happened in her life.

Brad could have reacted a number of different ways in this situation, and I give him huge brownie points for putting Emily at ease when he said he was flattered that she thought highly enough of him to tell her story. He tells her he likes her even more now. It is so nice to see Emily's walls come down and enjoy her time with Brad.

I have said this from the first episode, but I think Emily is amazing. She has been through a lot in her young life, and is a strong, compassionate and loving person. Brad sees all of these qualities in her early on, and I think they would make an amazing couple. It's nice to see Brad tell her how much her likes her and how badly he wants her to accept the rose. There's no other way to describe it...he's a smitten kitten. There. I said it! He tells her it was the perfect date, and I have to agree. I see Emily staying around for a very long time. He even goes as far as saying she is the type of person he would see a future with. Do you think she's getting kicked off the show any time soon? Didn't think so. ;)

I am going to skip quickly over the scene with the therapist coming to visit Brad. We already know that Brad has spent a lot of time in therapy dealing with issues form the past. I did like the fact that the therapist told Brad he needs to keep creating situations that the women would feel comfortable enough to open up to him. Also, by allowing himself to open up to the ladies, they in turn will open up to him. He spoke about his romantic date with Emily and the intense connection he had with her. Because of the environment he created for Emily, she was able to finally open up and talk to him about the past. That is a huge hurdle for anyone who has been through trauma, and I was impressed that Brad was able to have that breakthrough with Emily.

Finally, we arrive at the cocktail party. Brad is excited to spend time with the ladies, and they are anxious to have alone time with him. Alli opens up to Brad about her family and talks about how her father cheated on her mother. Brad says he would never do that and trust is huge with him. Brad and Chantal share more alone time and continue to have a strong connection. Once again, Michelle swoops in to steal Brad for 1-1 time. Chantal lets the other girls know what happened.

I love how Michelle used her alone time to tell Brad they were in a fight because he kissed Chantal after he kissed her. I feel like a need to act out some scenes for her using sock puppets. It's a show about finding love among 30 women. It's not rocket science...she's not the only one there, even if she thinks she is! Brad tells her that he likes to seize moments with the women when he can and kisses others when the moment arises. What drives me crazy is that he likes the fact that she wants his time. He actually likes how she's acting! I have to question that...not very smart on his part, but here's hoping she creates her own undoing on the show.

Madison opens up and tells Brad that she is seriously considering leaving the house. She came to find love, but she feels that others are so much more invested into the experience than she is. She doesn't want to take a rose away from a person who genuinely wants to be there. Brad asks her to think about it until after the cocktail party.

Ashley is also having doubts about staying in the house. Brad feels her pulling away, and give her a huge kiss to reassure her that he wants her to stay, I think Michele should take a cue from these girls and see if it helps her get a 1-1 date! LOL!

We arrive at the rose ceremony. Ashley, Shawntel and Emily already have roses. Brad starts to hand out roses, and Madison leaves the room. Brad follows her, and she tells him that she has decided to leave the house. She would have a hard time taking a rose away from someone who wants to be there to fall in love with him. He is disappointed, but commends her for her decision.

I have to say, I personally have changed my mind about Madison. She was very mature and honest about her decision, and wasn't dramatic about it. It just shows that this experience wasn't really for her, and rather than drag it our further, she left on her terms and told Brad how she felt. I have a lot of respect for that and hope she finds happiness away from the show.

The roses go to:

Michelle, Chantal O, Lisa, Jackie, Ashley H., Marissa, Britt, Alli, Lindsay, Meagan, Stacey

Kimberly and Sarah P. did not receive a rose.

OK, that's it for this week. Thanks for your comments, emails, and messages to me during and after the show. I love hearing from people and am always happy to answer your questions! Have a great week and stay out of trouble! ;)
Bring On The First Dates!Hello lovelies! What a crazy episode! Was anyone else sick of hearing Michelle go on...and on...and on.......and ON!..about how it was her 30th birthday!? Honestly, I needed to be medicated to get through that part of the show! Wow. In case you didn't watch the show, get the memo or attend the VIP party...Michelle had a birthday. She turned 30. She was a diva. OK...that pretty much covers it! LOL. Aside from that, the episode did not disappoint. There was a lot of drama, kissing, dissing and hissing! Perfect combination for a reality show. Grab your drinks and let's get down to business!

The first 1-1 date for the episode went to Ashley H, who I think is cute as a button and a good fit for Brad. I love how cute she looked in her dress, although it was a bit too much of a bridesmaid style for my taste. Brad, on the other hand, was insanely hot in his suit! I think he got better looking over the last three years! Wow. OK, I will stop drooling now. I love how he whisked her off to the woods, where it was pitch black, and had her flip a switch to produce a private midway. It was sweet, very private and suited her fun personality. It was obvious that Ashley put Brad at ease and allowed him to relax and be himself while he got to know Ashley better.

The photo booth was a cute touch. Where else but on The Bachelor could you enjoy cotton candy, wine and tons of kisses at the same time!? I know that never happened at the local midways in Ontario! LOL. I like the dynamic between the two of them, but it was eerie how much they had in common when it came to their absentee fathers. Ashley mentioned how her father was never really around for most of her life and that she had no idea where he was. Brad told Ashley how his father left when he was young and dealt with addiction issues. He told her that his father showed him what he doesn't want to become in life. It was nice to see Brad's walls come down and see the comfort level growing with Ashley. Naturally, he gave her a rose, and she happily accepted. The two of them end the date by riding the ferris wheel and making out. Typical scene out of most teen movies...but none of them ever had a ferris wheel all to themselves. First victory goes to my girl Ashley. She got the rose, the cotton candy, great use out of her lip gloss AND the man. A good night all around. ;)

The second date was a group date with Brad and 15 of the ladies. Brad had everyone meet him to shoot a series of PSAs for the American Red Cross. The theme was "Love is a Two-Way Street", and the girls had to get into wardrobe and learn their lines from scripts created for the taping. Some of the girls got to wear very sexy outfits, while others like Keltie were stuck in very unflattering clothing. How ironic is this for the Radio City Rockette!! This is the date where we see the full extent of Michelle's whiny, high maintenance attitude, as she complains about having to share Brad with 14 other women on her 30th birthday. Here we go...the first of 1,000 reminders that Michelle is celebrating a milestone birthday. She has to watch with the other women as Brad tapes a scene with two women, who take turns kissing him in take after take. Brad was great as Gustavo, with the fake hair on his chest and the crazy moustache! Melissa gets tired of waiting for her time with Brad, interrupts the scene and plants her own kiss on Brad! She managed to ruffle some feathers and piss off the ladies who still didn't have a chance to spend time with Brad.

We get back to Michelle, who is still whining about the fact that she doesn't feel very special on her birthday, because she had to share Brad with 14 other women. Did I forget to mention that it's Michelle's 30th birthday? In case you didn't know...she's 30. Write it down. You can't forget this special milestone!!

One of the PSAs is with Brad on a bed with Chantel O. and Britt, who is freaking out about having to make out on a bed with Brad and Chantel. Britt decides to go to the extreme and have a full force make out session with Brad, to the shock of the ladies. Personally, I think she was really ballsy in doing this. Who knows when she will have a chance like this again among 14 other women. Good for her for going for it! Brad didn't seem to mind at all. Michelle, on the other hand, got upset (huge surprise!), and walked off the set. Brad went to talk to her about what happened and she apologized for what she did, saying she wants to get to know him and see if there is a potential connection between them. Does anyone think that this connection is more Fatal Attraction than Some Kind of Wonderful? Brad...run back into the dark woods and hide from this crazy girl!!

After the PSAs are taped, Brad takes the bachelorettes to an after party on the roof of the Roosevelt Room. Brad spend some 1-1 time with Melissa, who explains why she interrupted his scene to kiss him. Brad also gets 1-1 time with Michelle, who says she wants to connect with Brad, but she feels he has walls up. She seems like a creepy stalker, and I wonder how long Brad it will take for Brad to look past her beauty and see this ridiculous behaviour for what it really is. Brad ends up giving a rose to the birthday girl, who flaunts it and does some ridiculous dance with the rose before the other girls. I think it's time for the high maintenance diva's birthday to come to an end!!

The final date is a 1-1 date with Jackie. Brad has a 'Pretty Woman' themed day in store for Jackie, filled with pampering, a luxurious suite filled with gorgeous clothes, and people to get her ready for her date with Brad. After she come out to meet Brad (who once again again looks amazing in a tuxedo!), he gives her a Neil Lane diamond necklace. What viewers didn't know is he also gave her earrings she was allowed to keep after the date, which made the other girls insanely jealous. If I were Jackie, I would sleep with one eye open, watch my earlobes and check the shampoo bottles to make sure other chemicals weren't added...LOL! Brad takes Jackie to the Hollywood Bowl for dinner and a private concert with Train.

While on the date, Brad learns that Jackie has only dated two men in her life. He is concerned that she is not going to be willing to take a risk in getting to know him and voices his concerns to her, He offers her a rose and says he is willing to hang in there if she is. Of course, she accepts the rose.

The next day is the cocktail party before the rose ceremony. Michelle steals Brad away as soon as it starts, and proceeds to ask him ridiculous questions to waste his time that could be spent talking to the other women in the house. Do we really need to hear Michelle ask Brad what's in his fridge, or what type of coffee he prefers? Shame Brad didn't ask for my opinion on Michelle. I would send her to hang with Sarah Palin's family in Alaska, who love to gut and smoke their own fish. Can you imagine Michelle having to do any of that!? Didn't think so. Just the image of it makes me giddy.

Emily's 1-1 time with Brad is a lot more interesting. Brad is blown away by her beauty and can't put words together to speak to her. They're both attracted to each other and she asks him to be patient with her, as she is slow to open up about her personal details. She has yet to tell him about her daughter, and that will be a big step for her. I am really looking forward to seeing how things play out for Brad and Emily. She has very quickly become the favourite of the bachelorettes for people online!

While all of this is going on, Melissa and Raichel are busy fighting and getting in each other's faces. Both girls get very emotional and are crying, which prompts Brad to come and comfort them. Melissa tells Brad she is being targeted by the other women in the house, and that Raichel is attacking her and draining her energy. Brad talks to Raichel afterwards, who is also upset about the tension with Melissa. Someone please give these girls a box of Kleenex, and tell them to turn the waterworks off. Honestly....this is ridiculous!

To help Brad make a decision about the women, Roberto and Ali come to the mansion to interview the girls and provide their opinions on them for Brad. Melissa cries when she meets with Ali and Roberto, describing the drama in the house. She tells them she's a target in the house. When Ali and Roberto ask Chantel to provide her opinion of Raichel, she gives a thumbs-down. She also thinks that Melissa creates her own drama within the house.

After the interviews are done, Brad sits with Ali and Roberto to get their opinion of the ladies. Once they are finished, Brad goes over to get the rose and asks Emily to join him outside. He tells her he thinks she is there for the right reasons, and Ali and Roberto, who spoke very highly of her, do as well. He offers her the rose, which she happily accepts.

Finally, the rose ceremony takes place. Ashley H, Michelle, Jackie and Emily have already received a rose. The following girls also received a rose:

Chantel O., Sarah, Alli, Kimberly, Chantal N., Stacey, Ashley S., Madison, Lisa, Marissa, Megan, Lindsay, and Britt.

Brad sends Melissa, Raichel and Keltie home. I'm sure there are many men out there who are devastated to see Raichel go. Did you see her dress!? Wow...she was barely keeping herself in that dress! Wow...someone needs to teach that girl that sometimes, less is more..when it comes to exposing herself! She needs to keep her emotions...and her chest...in check!

Well, that's it from me. I apologize for the delay in posting this entry. I won't let it happen again! Take care, enjoy your week and if there is anything you would like me to add to my blog, or topics you would like me to write about, please let me know! I love feedback and comments and all of the messages I have been receiving...from women and men! It's been great to hear from both ends of the spectrum, and I encourage you to keep providing me with your feedback. I will be adding a bonus entry in the next few days that will cover a few topics that I have questioned people about. The feedback will be posted here, so stay tuned!
Until next time....Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-524931738696456771.post-58473161756869073922011-01-04T22:53:00.001-05:002011-01-05T08:11:10.666-05:00Bachelor Season Premiere...Round Two - Brad's Back and Ready to Sink Some Teeth (or Fangs!) into the Competition!Welcome back lovelies!! Happy New Year and welcome to a new season of The Bachelor, featuring a blast from the past as the star of the show! I can't tell you how excited I am to see Brad come back for a second chance at love. I know there are a lot of people out there who are upset with the choice ABC made for the season, but we can chat about that later. Judging from the previews and spoilers ABC has shown on TV, this will be a very interesting season! Grab your beverage of choice and let's get this party started!

Let's start by addressing the ridiculously oversized pink (and blinged out!) elephant in the room. Why Brad!? Why should someone who rejected two women get another chance to find love on television handed to him on a silver platter? The backlash has been beyond crazy on this issue. My answer to this is....why the hell not!? What was his crime? He decided at the end of the season that he wasn't in love with either woman. The crime he could have committed was is he had chosen someone, only to end the relationship shortly after the show ended. Brad followed his heart, and because it wasn't what the audience and ABC wanted, he was treated like a leper. Get over it, people. It's been 3 years! The man went into intensive therapy and seclusion to deal with commitment and personal issues, and came clean about all of this. I think the virtual stoning, dissing and hissing needs to end. Brad is a smart, attractive, intelligent man who has a lot to offer the right woman, He knows he needs to address what happened in the past, and I think he did that last night.

One of the things that everyone was talking about online last night is how Brad showed up at the bachelor mansion with a small overnight bag. It was hilarious and naive for everyone to think that Brad would show up with a teeny suitcase for a 6-8 week trip to Los Angeles! I'm sure he had a massive closet full of clothes that a stylist carefully selected for him. It's reality TV, people..not real life! The clothes for each date and episode are hand picked for Brad to look his best for the ladies!

This brings me to one of the most ridiculous points at the beginning of the show. Did ABC really need to bring back Jenni and DeAnna (who he didn't pick during the season finale of his first season on the show) for a meeting with Brad, right before he met 30 bachelorettes? Both of these women have moved on and are either married or engaged. DeAnna is not an expert on Brad, and she moved on to be the star of her own season of The Bachelorette. I saw zero value in that segment, except to roll my eyes and impatiently wait for the grilling to end, so Brad could go meet the hotties waiting in the limos for him!

Let's talk about those ladies! I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the selection of women chosen for Brad. In all honesty, I feel that many of them were chosen with Chris Lambton in mind, as he was also offered the chance to star in this season of The Bachelor. Regardless of who was selected, the women did not disappoint. The bachelorettes were attractive, smart, working women who seemed to be very interested, although a bit skeptical, of having Brad as this season's Bachelor. Let's break down some of the ladies who stood out last night!

Who will forget the slap heard around the world!? The first girl out of the limo, Chantal O., delivered what I can only describe as the fakest slap I have ever seen, no doubt encouraged by ABC for ratings. I love that Brad was a good sport about it, saying he deserved it and he liked her already! Props and brownie points for the hot bachelor! I see this feisty lady sticking around for a while.

Meaghan the Fashion Marketer was the girl with the crazy pink shoes that made me scream "what the hell are you rocking on your feet!?" (and secretly wanting to know where she got them! If you want fashion tips about the clothes from last night's show, and for the rest of the season, check out the Possessionista website. I have a link to her blog on this page! Best tips ever!!)

I would never hear the end of it if I didn't talk about Madison and her crazy teeth! "Fang girl", as the Internet has christened her, is a model from NYC who has fangs that we saw as soon as she strolled up to Brad. Brad doesn't say anything when he meets her, but you she will have to answer the question that's on everyone's mind: what the hell are up with those fangs!? This ain't True Blood or The Vampire Diaries, sista! Wrong television networks altogether!! ;) I'll chat more about Madison later!

Melissa - the crazy and cute blonde girl that runs to Brad and makes him catch her! It would have been funny if he dropped her, but of course, that won't happen on "reality" TV...bet the ratings would have been higher if he did!! ;)

Jackie - artist from NYC who makes Brad pinky swear that he won't break her heart. Of course he agrees, and asks her to swear the same thing to him. What else will he say on the first night!? Please...lol.

Sarah P.- real estate broker who asked Brad to get down on one knee and practice proposing to her. My spidey sense tells me that's as close as she'll get to a proposal from Brad...but that's just my opinion! ;)

Shawntel - funeral director who tells Brad he looks and smells good. He loves her yellow dress (and I did, too!). I think she'll be around for a while, too.

The most original meeting came from Britnee the paralegal. She stayed in the limo, opened it a little and waved at him to come over. Brad had to open the door and help her out. She said she did that because she likes a chivalrous man. I like a girl who has mad game. She's on my list of girls to stick around!

Lisa - marketing director from Kansas with the famous ruby red shoes that made me chant "there's no place like home!". Talk about a cliche!

Rebecca - esthetician who gets the ballsy award for giving Brad the first kiss on the lips when she met him! A girl who knows what she wants will go far in this kind of show.

Keltie - the Radio City Rockette who comes out of the limo with her high kicks and desire to teach Brad a few moves. I'll leave it at that...haha!!

Emily - my personal favourite of the group. Her story is the one everyone will remember all season. She got engaged at 19 to a famous NASCAR driver who died in a plane crash in 2004, and she found out days later that she was pregnant with his baby. She's a single mom, who's ready to get married and settle down. Gorgeous girl, easily able to make it to the end. If she doesn't end up with Brad, don't be surprised if they offer her own season of The Bachelorette down the road...she's perfect for the role!!!

Michelle - hairstylist who is excited to see Brad is the Bachelor. He think she's very attractive, and I see her sticking around for a while, as well.

Brad goes into the house and tells the girls his story about what happened in the past. He tells them that if they want to leave and not take a chance to get to know him, they can do so. Of course, no one leaves. Once that's over, the girls fight for Brad's attention. He faces a tough firing squad and grilling with tons of questions, but feels beat up and overwhelmed by all the questions, and is concerned he may not be able to find someone this time around, either.

Raichel uses her time with Brad to wax his wrist! It was hilarious when she did it, and also when she told him the hair wouldn't grow back quickly. That's OK, Brad...she also waxes booties and "under carriage"..feel free to book an appointment anytime! While you're at it, feel free to kiss your masculinity goodbye! ;)

One of the funniest parts of the show for me was the battle between several of the girls for alone time with Brad! With 30 women in the house, you need to be assertive, or prepare to go home rose less and losing your shot to make it to the next round. I don't remember all of the names of the girls, but the tug of war for Brad's time was borderline ridiculous! Alli, the girl in the green dress, asks him "Can you handle this behind?" No, Beyonce, he can't handle your jelly. Wow. is this a cocktail party, or a booty shakin' competition!?

Brad's 1-1 time with Madison has him addressing the issue of the fangs. He point blank asks her if they're real or a joke (she says they're real). He also asked her if she was there for him, or asked if this was a game to her. She tells him she's there for the right reasons. He says she's sexy, and that the fangs are hot. Hmm...guess we know what will happen on their first date! Watch your back...er...neck, Brad!!

I have to talk about crazy Keltie the Rockette and her time with Brad! She made up a crazy song that she sang to him, doing her dance and saying things like "You'll be Santa Claus and I'll be the Rockette", and "I'm bendy"! If she doesn't get him in the end, I'm sure there are plenty of men out there who want to see just how 'bendy' she really is!! ;)

Michelle spends her time with Brad talking about how courageous she thinks he is for coming back a second time. She also addressed the fact that she is a single to a 5 year-old daughter. Brad has already said he loves kids and reacts very positively to her news.

Brad spends time with Ashley S., the nanny who is pretty much the only one that didn't grill him about his past. She tells him that no matter what happens, she would be there to be his friend. He's attracted to her and thinks she's sweet, and offers her the first impression rose.

Finally, the rose ceremony starts. Brad is only able to choose 20 out of the 30 women (he already gave a rose to Ashley S.). They are:

Michelle
Kimberly
Madison
Emily
Raichel
Keltie
Ashley H
Meghan
Lisa M
Lindsey
Alli
Sarah P
Marissa
Britt
Stacey
Chantal N
Jackie
Melissa
Chantal O

I know that was a long entry, but the first ones are always the ones that have the most details! I hope you enjoyed the season premiere, and judging from the sneak preview of the rest of the season, there are some hot dates coming up! I can't wait to see how this season unfolds, and which of the ladies will make through the season. Let me know if there's anything you would like me to cover in this blog. I love getting feedback and having people tell me how much they like the show and appreciate the posts on a weekly basis! :)

Take care, be good and try to stay out of trouble! Until next time...XOAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-524931738696456771.post-37223511482583193342010-09-28T22:51:00.000-04:002010-09-28T22:51:49.536-04:00And the New Bachelor is...Not Really New! Brad Womack is Back!!! Let the Fireworks Begin...Hello Everyone!!

If you're like me, you have been in Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor Pad withdrawal!! Monday nights were boring for a split second until Dancing With the Stars premiered last week. Last night's show featured, among...wait for it...dancing, go figure...the huge announcement of who was going to be the next Bachelor. Everyone was going cuckoo for news about who the next man would be to date 25 women in the hope of finding love. Little did they know that someone was coming back for another chance to jump into the most popular dating pool on television!! We finally found out that Brad Womack is going to be on next season of The Bachelor. Did you love the lame spoof of having Jonathan (The Weatherman) sitting next to Chris Harrison, so that everyone thought he would be the next Bachelor!? The Facebook statuses and Twitter messages were out of control!!! LOL!!

As someone who loves the shows and writing blogs about our favoutite guilty reality pleasure, I found it amusing how everyone got so worked up after the announcement was made. For the most part, people were angry and shocked that ABC would dare to cast the most hated man in the Bachelor franchise. They wanted to see Chris Lambton try his luck at love, or Kasey Kahl, or even Ty Brown. What people may not realize is that ABC tried to get Brad to be the Bachelor before Jake was offered the opportunity, and have been pursuing him for a while. They may not realize that the other men who may have been offered the opportunity could have had personal reasons for not wanting to be on the show. The media spotlight isn't for everyone, and some people may like to have a private life after reality TV.

I personally think this is a very smart decision. Brad rejected the women during his season because he wasn't ready for a commitment. Would it have been better if he chose DeAnna, then ended the relationship a month later? Think about it. He stood his ground and made the choice that was right for him. It cost him a lot, as the backlash was ridiculous. It's been a few years since that season...get over it people! Let the man have a chance to prove everyone wrong. You know you'll watch every week, and we all know the ratings will be through the roof. I personally cannot WAIT to blog about Brad's season. This is something ABC hasn't done...bring back a Bachelor for a second chance. I think a lot of people may change their mind and see him differently...but stranger things have happened.

I had to say something about this decision, as it was such a great move by ABC. Some people think it's crazy to recycle people for the shows...but it's been done for over 20 seasons, and it's still insanely popular. I tihnk this next season will be one for the books. If it fails...ABC knows they need to start looking for new faces. But if it succeeds...watch out. I think anything is possible if you give it a chance!

Enjoy the wonderful must-see TV that's back on the airwaves and I will see you in the new year to blog and dish about Brad and his season of The Bachelor!!

Until next time...XOAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-524931738696456771.post-14630028626626620622010-09-14T23:47:00.001-04:002010-09-15T00:04:59.929-04:00Season Finale...Do a Little Dance...Make a Little Plea...Get Rich Tonight!!How awesome was the finale!? Were you all laughing as hard as I was??? For those who haven't seen the show, or just read this for the entertainment factor, don't own a TV or just don't watch at ALL, I won't give away the ending...we'll save that for later. I think it's safe to say that the ending was as good as it's going to get in this type of crazy enviromnemt. I can't believe how quickly the season flew by. It was entertaining, dramatic, throw on a straight jacket insane fun! I don't know if my Monday nights will be half as interesting now that it's over. I know you are waiting for me to throw in my fiddy cents' worth...so let's get to it and dish this out one last time for the season. Got your drinks yet...no...??? Go get one and hurry back! ;)

I thought it was hysterical that the first challenge of the night was a ballroom competition! I don't think anyone in the "Super 6", as Dave affectionately calls the remaining couples, has ever seen the inside of a ballroom, or or had any formal type of dance training (with the exception of Tenley). We see everyone getting stressed about what is to come and I have to admit that it was nice to see people stepping out of their comfort zone. Dave was sticking to his pact with Kovacs to make it to the final 2 couples, and Natalie was regretting sending Jesse and Peyton home. She is ready to send Elizabeth and Kovacs packing, and I'm sure everyone else watching was, as well. Hmmm...Kovacs can stay...eye candy is always nice...but I know everyone would love to throw Elizabeth out of the house faster than Nat whipped off her bikini top back in Vegas!!

The remaining couples are paired up with some of the famous choreographers from Dancing With the Stars. Kip-Ten (sorry, I couldn't resist!! LOL), meaning Kiptyn and Tenley, were paired with Chelsie Hightower, Kovacs and Elizabeth had Edyta Sliwinska and Dave and Natalie were with Louis Van Amstel. I loved the interaction everyone had with their respective choreographers. Chelsie is perfect for cute little Tenley and Kiptyn, and Edyta is serious eye candy for Kovacs and an eyesore for Elizabeth and the little green monster that has taken over her body! When Elizabeth wasn't busy silently freaking out about Edyta wrapping herself around 'her man', she was busy mentally mopping up the drool that was pouring out of every pore in Kovacs' body! Priceless. I think Kovacs was wishing Edyta was his partner for the competition....or just having a very erotic daydream. You decide which one is more suitable.

My favourite scene was watching Dave doing anything and everything necessary to get the most out of the practice time he and Natalie had with Louis. Watching Dave get in touch with his feminine side and twirling Louis around made me want to get a paddle out and score him for his ballsiness. I also wanted to make him a girly drink with a little umbrella stuck at the top, and toast his competitiveness. This guy came to play, and to win. I love his attitude! Bet he can rock a sequined shirt like no one's business, as well! ;)

I have to give Natalie props where they are due, as well. She is a very strong competitor and totally willing to do anything to win the challenge. Did anyone else laugh at Louis asking if they had sex in the house? Between that and Natalie telling Dave to grab onto her boobs instead of her waist, I was losing my mind! I love this couple. They are pure entertainment, they know how to go with the flow and are totally able to infuse fun into any situation they are brought into.

OK...on to the competition. All three couples had to perform their dance for the guest judges...Melissa Rycroft, Jake Pavelka and Trista Sutter. I have NO idea why any of these people were there to judge. I would have definately preferred Len, Bruno and Carrie-Ann from Dancing With the Stars! Three former reality show people who once competed on DWTS don't do it for me. Anyway, Tenley and Kiptyn were first and had a great dance...until they fell over at the very end! I still liked it, and our wannabe judges did too. They scored 26 out of a possible 30 points.

Elizabeth and Kovacs wetre up next with a rhumba that was as brutal as getting a root canal without the necessary meds. It was awkward, painful to watch and I was severely embarassed for them. They still managed to squeak out 24 out of 30 points, but were eliminated from the challenge.

Finally, we get to Natalie and Dave and their cha-cha dance. They have a lot of chemistry and are driven to perform to the best of their ability. Natalie's dress was also my favourite of the night! The girl could wear a paper bag and still look like a rock star on the dance floor...but I digress. They performed well and even earned a "Hello sexiness!" from Trista, but with a score of 25 out of 30, they came second to Tenley and Kiptyn, who won the challenge.

While Tenley and Kiptyn were celebrating their immunity from the elimination ceremony and making out like bandits (or cute little bunnies...come on..it's Tenley I'm blogging about here!!), everyone else was stressing about the upcoming rose ceremony. No one wants to go home with $250,000 on the line, so they start to talk strategy amongst themselves. Kiptyn and Tenley are faced with the difficult task of selecting the couple they want to have by their side in the final four. At the rose ceremony, they choose Dave and Natalie as the final couple to move on, and Kovacs and Elizabeth are sent home.

Tenley says her decision to choose Dave and Nat was based out of loyalty, and Kiptyn hopes Elizabeth and Kovacs found love together. Ummm....were we watching the same season!? I donn't those two are part of the same BOOK (or in the same library, for that matter), much less on the same page when it comes to relationships and how they feel about each other.

The show ends with the remaining four leaving the house and the finale was taped a week ago before a live audience...and all of the eliminated houseguests come back to help decide the fate of the final four. When we see the returning contestants, we find out that Elizabeth and Kovacs are no longer a couple, and that she thinks Kovacs is a player. Sweetheart...what was your first clue!? The fact that you were his personal booty call, plaything, and he never really claimed to love you back should have tipped you off. Sorry..but reality really does bite back. Hard.

Elizabeth is finally a brunette again during the finale...thank GOD. The girl was annoying, but her bleach blonde hair was an eyesore! Thankfully, she went back to her 'roots'...lol. She looks much better and believable as a brunette. I wonder if the hair dye toned down the craziness factor too. Just sayin'...

We also get some resolution on the Gia/Wes situation of 'are they or aren't they' together. Gia admits that she is single again and that she is still interested in Wes. Wes admits he came on the show for the money, but didn't expect to fall so hard for Gia. After saying that 'bad boys need love to', they finally kiss for the first time in front of everyone. I have no clue if they are together now, but I can't say I am surprised at this outcome...are you? Do you think she will be in his next music video? On his next cd cover? I could go on for hours...lol.

The final four face questions from the former houseguests they helped to eliminate. Ashley questions Dave about how quickly he moved on from Jessie S. to Natalie on their overnight date in Vegas. Jessie says Dave did what he had to do for the game, but Dave says what happened was not for the game. In plain English for the people in the cheap seats...he was into Nat more. Hope that helps to eliminate any leftover confusion out there!! ;)

Krisily expressed that she was mad at Dave and upset that he didn't give enough respect from him to tell her that she was going to be sent home. Dave explains that there was no point in telling her, but she said it was a respect thing. Ironically, she ends up giving him her vote later. I didn't know if she would go there...but good for her for making a decision based on the game.

Peyton told Kiptyn she was shocked at his behaviour and how she saw that he lied to her. He told Peyton that he didn't forsee himself and Tenley getting together on the show. Gia also told Kiptyn she was upset that he alowed Nikki to get eliminated after she went against the 'Outsider' girls' votes in order to keep him in the house.

We get to Michelle giving her speech to Tenley. Ahhh...seemingly deranged, psychotic Michelle. Clearly, time does not heal old wounds...they just give you time to get crazier!! Michelle is still pissed off about the fact that Tenley mentioned to others in the house that she hooked up with Craig M. She goes on about hos she lost respect for someone who was so sweet on Jake's season of The Bachelor, and that she would NOT give her vote to tenley. Really, Michelle? We didn't see that coming!! LOL. ;)

Wes also gets his word in as he mentions that when it comes to money, you qustion your integrity...money definately talks in this type of environment. Dave was upset about that, as he and Wes were friends, but they were fighting around the time Gia was eliminated from the house. wes is ok with the outcome, as he has Gia over the money. Ummm...someone fill me in..are they actually dating!? Or is this part of a new song he is writing? Please fill in the blanks for me if you know...thanks!! The lines of reality have gotten so blurry.....

Finally, the couples are given a chance to plead their case to everyone about why they should win the $250,000 prize. Natalie admits that she initially came for the money, but she loved everyone in the house. She wants to pay off her debt, and start a charity. Dave thinks he played the game honestly and fairly. He apologized to Jesse B and Krisily for things he did, and hoped that he brought comic relief to the house. He also hoped that he has the votes of his peers.

Not sure why she waited so long, but Gwen chose to pick this time to admit to a conversation she overheard Dave having with other people in the house. He said that anyone in their 30's who was in the house was a loser. We find out that Gwen is actualy 39. Gwen was very upset about this comment, and Dave said anyone in their upper 30's should not be on a dating show. Hmmm...where exactly should they be? Playing shuffleboard with the other seniors at the retirement home?? I love Dave...but that was a ridiculous thing for him to say. That was probably the one major thing he did that annoyed people watching the show who don't feel like they need to date Col. Sanders to find love...LOL. Get a grip, Dave. Love comes in all forms, and at all ages and stages in life. People who are a little bit older know exactly what they want out of life and love...and won't settle for anything less. OK, I am done with the soap box rant! ;)

Kiptyn and and Tenley have their chance at stating why they should win the money. Tenley talks about how honoured she was to be there. She states that she lost more than just her marriage...she lost her home, and all the money her parents invested into it. She wanted to pay them back the money, and also have some fun with the winnings. Kiptyn told everyone how close he was to not coming on the show, and that he wanted to start a charity with the money, and also have some fun with the proceeds.

Juan also decided to make his comments known at this point. He said that Kiptyn played with integrity, Dave and Natalie played hard...but he didn't know why Tenley was in the final four and how she got there. Jessie S. defended Tenley, stating that she won her way to the finals.

The final two were determined by voted from the former houseguests. The first couple to get 8 votes moved on to the final round. The final two were:

Dave and Natalie

The final twist to the competition was explained by Chris Harrison. He mentioned that to test their relationship, they would be sequestered in separate rooms and had to make a choice...Share the money, or Keep the money for themselves. If one person selects share and one selects keep, the person who chose keep would keep all of the money. If they both selected share, they would split the money. If they both selected keep, neither would get the money, and the funds would be divided equally among the eliminated contestants!

Dave and Nat are separated to make their decisions. While they are gone, everyone speculates about how they will vote. The majority thinks Dave will choose share, but that Natalie will opt to keep the money for herself. The final decision is made...Dave selects share, and Nat looks upset and asks Chris R. if she can say something. Chris says no and tells her to reveal her decision. After a brief speech that made everyone believe she decided to keep the cash for herself, Nat chooses to share the money, and they each win $125,000!

What an ending! The only thing that topped their win was the delicious looking kiss Dave planted on Chris H. I wonder how good that was for both of them,!? It looked pretty hot from where I was sitting! LOL. Lucky Chris!!!

What a great finish to a hilarious season of Bachelor Pad. We saw the whole range of action - drama, tears, catfights, alliances, bromances and showmances. I am going out on a limb to say that I enjoyed this finale more than the finale of last installment of The Bachelor - that train wreck was insane, considering what has happened since the show ended. Bachelor Pad was exactly what we needed for a Monday night during the summer months, and I personally cannot wait to see the next installment...and you know there will be a second season!! Let me know who you think would make a great contestant on the next season.

If you are interested in seeing more of the former bachelors from previous seasons of The Bachelorette, Jesse Kovacs is doing a wine and book tour in the US and Canada over the next few months. My friends and I will be checking this out next week here in town at a Bachelor Pad party with former bachelors, and I can't wait to see the bromance of Dave and Kovacs in full effect! Here is a link to the Kovacs Brothers website, where you can get dates for his tour. The site also contains information about Dave Good's new book, "The Man Code' that will be on sale soon!
To all of you who have read my blog, provided me with comments and feedback, and have enjoyed the show with me, thanks so much!! I love writing this blog and really appreciate that you take the time to read my entries and give me such great feedback! Hope to see you again very soon for the next season of The Bachelor! Anyone want to guess who the next Bachelor will be? I have heard so many things already...and would love to know what you think!!

I will be back in the New Year to give you all the the scoop, dish and drama that is on The Bachelor! Until then, be good, find something fun to do on your Monday nights and enjoy the rest of the year!! :)

Until the next installment...XOAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-524931738696456771.post-32977001493520154232010-09-07T20:49:00.008-04:002010-09-07T23:09:39.755-04:00Showmance + Bromance + Couples = Bye Bye Single Ladies!!How many people out there get more amused as each week of this show passes!? I am one of those people waiving my hand frantically in the air! I admit it...I am shamelessly hooked to this crazy show! A dash of crazy, a pinch of Disney, a huge serving of drama and a splash of Bromance and you have the recipe for the funniest show that has been on our televisions every Monday night this past summer. I'm sad to say that the finale is coming up quickly...but as we know, all good (and drama-infested!) things must come to an end. I have to say...not at all surprised they got rid of the single ladies and kept their couples alliances strong. Hope that doesn't come back to bite the houseguests too hard in the finale! Let's get this party started and get back to where we left off last week...:)

We pick up with the guests talking about Krisily's elimination. Kovacs isn't crying over her departure, but Dave was upset about how Krisily's speech was about him. Ummm...maybe because you told her she was safe, then helped get her booted out of the mansion! The girl's got a right to be pissed. The line used last night is so true..."Don't hate the player, hate the game!!" Words to live by...especially if the vote comes into the hands of the people who were kicked out each week. I am secretly hoping for a jury bitch session like on Survivor, where everyone has a chance to make speeches and ask crazy questions to those left in the game. We need some spice thrown into the finale, and I hope ABC steps up and gives it to the fans! What's a show like this without knockdown fights and crazy drama!!??

The remaining houseguests get a bomb dropped on them the next morning when Chris H. lets them know they are axing three of the ladies, as there are too many of them. I love how the way they determine who leaves comes down to Spin The Bottle! Clearly, all the great challenges were already taken by Big Brother and Amazing race. Really...a bottle and a kiss? Why not look for a genie in that bottle, as the single girls had no hope in hell to get a kiss from the guys who were already coupled off with the other women. No surprise how it all went down. The remaining couples are:

Kiptyn and Tenley (Krisily was pissed about this....she saved him early in the game, but he saves Tenley instead. Please...saw this coming in a snowstorm. Couples will always kick ass over singles any day of the week. Sorry Krisily...I love your ballsy, honest attitude...but guys will always pick the girl they want to get closer to over the girl who is nice and has good intentions. Let's see if this comes back to haunt Kiptyn in the finale!!) Why did Kiptyn bother to pace around and pretend to think about his choice? Did anyone believe that? I like Kiptyn...but that was lame. Plain and simple.

Kovacs and Elizabeth - Another no-brainer. He has been with our resident crazy girl for months. Even though she has screw loose, as Kovacs outs it, she is also his hookup in the house. Hard to compete with that!

Jesse B and Peyton - Our resident brother/sister relationship. I am still disappointed their showmance went south during their date in the hangar. It's nice to see they still get along. Hope it takes them to the end!

Dave and Natalie - Yet another showmance hookup. A wild night in Vegas isn't going to get trumped by three single women. I'm sure everyone would agree with me.

That left Nikki, Gwen and Ashley still single...and headed straight for the limo ride back to the airport. I wonder if the Weatherman is still available? There's a second chance for everything!! :)

I don't want to sit here and dissect every little thing on the show...but a few things stood out for me last night...

Kovacs and Elizabeth - Watching them go over how much (or in Elizabeth's case, how little!) they know about each other was ridiculous. Kovacs clearly knows a lot about her...but Elizabeth couldn't remember her name, let alone where he went to school, personal information about family, etc. Maybe if she took some Ginkgo Biloba (Liz...if you can't pronounce it...I don't think you really take it!), she wouldn't have looked like such a goof. Get a clue, sweetheart! Definately time for her to go home...

As much as I think Tenley and Kiptyn look cute together, I had my gag reflexes tested last night. Between the pool PDA and Tenley's Kip-Ten comment, I was wishing I could fast forward to another scene. That's all I have to say about them.

I would much rather talk about Peyton and Jesse B! How many people either howled or gagged over Jesse picking at an ingrown hair with a drywall screw!? OMG, hysterical! I wanted to say it's the screw that Kovacs said Elizabeth had loose...but I'm pretty sure people don't have drywall screws in their head. Hmmm..maybe it would help her seem less psychotic...but I digress. Anyway, I love the dynamic between Jesse and Peyton. While she isn't too happy about their partnership, as the other pairs are more like actual couples, I like them and their dynamic seems really genuine.

The next challenge came straight out of Frosh Week (for my Canadian friends...or for those in the US..Orientation Week for first year students at college). What the hell was the budget for these challenges!? Did everything get blown on the reward for winning the contest? I'm thinking yes. The water balloon tossing challenge came down to sticky fingers and clumsy catches. The last couple standing was Natalie and Dave, who won roses and immunity from the next elimination round, along with a 1-1 date. Shame Kovacs and Elizabeth had to mark their territory on the yellow Lamborghini waiting outside for Dave and Natalie. I feel like someone should have thrown some water balloons on them to cool them off.

I loved watching Dave rip out of the driveway on that hot sportscar! Better than seeing a kid in a candy store...unless the kid is joyriding in a car that cost six figures! Tell me you weren't jealous of their drive on the Pacific Coast Highway..I dare you! The part of the date that got to me was when Dave opened up about his parent's divorce and how he had a blowout with his father that caused them to stop talking. That's the first time we have seen Dave show any real emotion on the show. Nice to see that he's not just about the man code and bromance. Dave and competition without him around to shake things up! One thing I didn't see him as is a 'daddy's boy'. I guess anything is possible.

Dave talks strategy with Nat and wants to figure out where her head is at. Natalie wants Kovacs and Elizabeth out of the game, but Dave opens up to her about the pact he and his boy Jesse made before they came into the house. Nat tells him that at the end of the day...there is $250,000.00 on the line. Sometimes a lot of zeros cancels out the bromance...but that remains to be seen.

Back at the casa, everyone is busy getting some PDA in the pool...or just getting busy! Honestly...were any of you surprised that Kovacs and Elizabeth snuck into the Fantasy Suite and broke the bed!? Aaahhh...I love how Elizabeth wanted to talk to Kovacs about the night they met...and all he wanted to ask her was "Wanna get naked?" LOL. Liz...you saying "Screw Dave and Natalie" is so ironic....especially naked in the big girl bed! The icing on the cake was Tenley sneaking up to find Kovacs and Elizabeth. I loved how she ran back to everyone and lets them know the lights are out and it smells good. Jesse B knows what time it is with that news...and I preferred what he said over Princess Tenley's comments.

Getting back to the Fantasy Suite...did anyone else think that Elizabeth should have stopped talking 20 minutes earlier!? Clearly, Kovacs was there for one reason...and it didn't involve a long discussion about love, relationships or romance. He wanted to get in, get out and have some fun. Elizabeth...you need to win the money if for no other reason that to buy a CLUE! The guy just is not into you like that. Sorry I had to break it to you...please don't cry....and go postal...and act psychotic. Wait a sec. You have done all these things already. OK...never mind.

Let's just skip to the plotting and scheming going on before the next elimination vote and rose ceremony. I love how Tenley and Natalie had their 'woman code' established, but didn't go through with their talk of saving Peyton and Jesse from elimination. I was really hoping that they would be saved, and Kovacs and Elizabeth would be hitting the dusty trail. They are a favourite by those who knew them outside of the game, but not necessarily the best couple to be in the final six to win. Unfortunately, we know that it's usually a popularity contest in these types of situations.

All the talking and deal making couldn't save Jesse and Peyton from going home at the end of the rose ceremony. My favourite part of the ceremony was at the end of the show was Jesse calling out 'a few fake people' in the house. I totally agree with him...but at the end of the day, I guess you do what you have to for the chance to win a pile of money and save your showmances, bromances and anything else that will carry you to the season finale.

I don't know about you...but I am pumped for the season finale next week! I seriously hope that the people who were kicked out the game that are back for the final episode make the final two work for their votes and for the money! Twists and drama are what makes shows like this more enjoyable to watch. We all love to get lost in the hysterics, tension and drama that exists on Bachelor Pad...so please ABC...bring it next week and don't disappoint us!!

Take care, have a great week and let me leave you with a final thought. If we didn't have crazy shows like this to make us laugh and dissect every juicy detail the next morning, our Monday nights would be boring. I would also have nothing interesting to blog about! I have no idea what I am going to do after next week! LOL...;)

Until next time...XOAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11418424607979421034noreply@blogger.com4
